Fantastic Forecasts Review Betfan

Fantastic Forecasts is a brand new horse racing tipster service from Jimmy Green that is provided in conjunction with the Bet Kudos arm of the Betfan group. It uses a niche bet type to generate profit.

What does the product offer?

The initial sales material for Fantastic Forecasts did very little to catch my eye (outside of some nice comic book style graphics) however the more I looked, the more my interest was held. Sold as “betting dynamite gone nuclear!!” (a nonsensical if effective bit of copy), it would appear that Jimmy Green is really onto something special. In fact, I would be inclined to say that it is one of the more exciting launches I have seen from Betfan.

With all of that in mind, I shall start by looking at the arguably dull, but actually very important stuff, namely the logistics of the service. Selections for Fantastic Forecasts are sent out via email each day to subscribers. It is also worth noting that Jimmy Green does look at races for both the UK and Ireland we looking for selections.

One of the things that makes Fantastic Forecasts stand out and is (to the best of my knowledge) really unique as a tipster service is the type of bet that is used. Fantastic Forecasts looks exclusively at the correct forecast market, a rather obscure betting method that involves correctly choosing both the first and second place horses in a race (this is known as a reverse forecast).

There are also combination forecasts which involve backing three horses rather than two.

Looking at the details, Jimmy Green has a rather selective approach to Fantastic Forecasts with the most bets I have seen in a single day coming in at 6. This is definitely an exception however as the majority of days with Fantastic Forecasts are very quiet.

This low volume approach is however necessary in my opinion, mostly down to the very precise nature of the service.

Moving onto the numbers side of things for Fantastic Forecasts, the staking plan is 1 point per bet. It is important to keep in mind that a reverse forecast involves placing two bets whilst a combination can involve staking as many as 6 points.

In terms of the strike rate, whilst it is likely to be around 25-30% (based solely off observation of the results), there is unfortunately no properly published figure.

How does the product work?

At the core of Fantastic Forecasts is really the type of bet that you place. It is definitely an unusual bet type and one that by all accounts, has massively varied odds depending on which bookmaker you go to.

The fact is that the sales material for Fantastic Forecasts makes it sound like forecast bets are some kind of top secret that you aren’t really supposed to know about.

In terms of the actual selection process, this is attributed to a period where Jimmy Green was an owner of race horses.

Following a winning forecast bet of on two of his own horses,Jimmy Green and his friend supposedly went on to identify a method of accurately predicting the first two placers in a race.

Unfortunately, there is very little information on what this method entails which his rather disappointing.

What is the initial investment?

There are two options available for those wish to subscribe to Fantastic Forecasts.

The first of these is a monthly membership (which is actually only in place for 28 days) which costs £60 and a quarterly membership at a cost of £120 (which actually runs for 90 days).

I should point out that at the time of writing, I have seen offers popping up on the Fantastic Forecasts website which allow you to get access for the quarter for the same cost as a month.

Unfortunately, there is no real money back guarantee in place. As Bet Kudos are a part of the Betfan group, their usual stance on refunds applies. This states that they do not typically issue refunds on their products, however, they do say that they will review requests.

What is the rate of return?

Fantastic Forecasts has been proofed since October and since then, it has made a profit of 771.69 points. This is with a best month of 435.91 points.

There is yet to be a losing month although December is currently showing significantly lower returns than previous months with a current profit of 48 points.

Conclusion

At a first glance it is very easy to be taken in by the results that Bet Kudos have put out for Fantastic Forecasts. In fact, I will hold my hand sup and say that there service has performed more than twice as well in 6 weeks than some services do in a full year.

This is an incredible feat and one that I will hold my hands up to and say that I wouldn’t like to think about when I will see this kind of result again.

This doesn’t mean that Fantastic Forecasts is flawless however and one of the key things that stands out for me is that Jimmy Green has only been able to do this for a few months.

The other thing that is worth pointing out is that whilst the strike rate is high, there can be rather large losing streaks in place. Some of these are rather significant as well.

As it currently stands there are two very different approaches tht I feel that Fantastic Forecasts warrants. The first is the cautious approach.

This means seeing if Jimmy Green can replicate his results in another 6 week period, something that according to the sales material, should be easily doable. The other way to look at something like Fantastic Forecasts is to throw caution to the wind and simply jump into Fantastic Forecasts and hope that the result does replicate.
