Octosuite Review

Octosuite is a comprehensive Facebook marketing tool from Luke Maguire that has allows users to automate the process of managing Facebook Fan Pages.

What does the product offer?

It isn’t very often that I’m impressed with internet marketing products as a lot of them use rather questionable tactics in order to be successful. Octosuite isn’t really any different however what I cannot fault about it, is how it goes about its business. Luke Maguire has designed Octosuite from the ground up to be the only tool that you need to manage Facebook Fan Pages and it shows.

The software can curate content in relevant niches for you (most importantly targeting the kind of things that have already gone viral on other social media) which can then be reposted and used to advertise your site, service, affiliate offer, etc.

You can also use Octosuite to schedule when these are posted meaning that there isn’t any burnout on your fan pages with content either all appearing at once or instead appearing when you remember.

Furthermore, Octosuite can do this to multiple fan pages at once. This means that if you operate various different ones, you can make sure that the right posts are being seen by everybody rather than missing out on possible sales.

Finally, to aid with your posts going viral, Octosuite allegedly has the ability to look at what is trending. Luke Maguire says that this will further help you to engage with your clientele.

How does the product work?

Really, Octosuite isn’t anything more than a Facebook advertising tool (and a rather crude one at that) and as such, is a method of generating traffic for you. This is something that Luke Maguire recommends is used to direct traffic to your website or services or even directly to a relevant affiliate offer.

What is the initial investment?

At the time of writing there are a number of different packages available for Octosuite. These start with the lite version which provides very basic functionality. Next is the basic edition which comes with the majority of functions that Octosuite can perform.

Finally is the Ocean edition which gives complete access to Octosuite. These are priced at $27 per year, $37 per year and a one off fee of $47 respectively. All options come with a 14 day money back guarantee as well.

What is the rate of return?

There aren’t really any specific claims made in terms of the income potential for Octosuite, however Luke Maguire does make numerous allusions to making at least a five figure income. I’m not convinced however.

Conclusion

Octosuite clearly does what it claims to and it does it very well.

My question with Octosuite as always, is the methodology behind using Facebook groups. This is a method of marketing that definitely has some scope to work, however it is reliant on building your groups up before you can really consider extensive marketing or making any real money from this method.

This leads me to my main point with Octosuite which is that if you really want to get anything from it, then Facebook Fan pages should be your main source of traffic.

Unless you have an incredibly large number of them operational at a time, I just don’t see Octosuite as being something that is worthwhile.
