Shoot for Goals Review

Shoot for Goals is a new sports betting tipster service that is provided by The Betting Universe that claims to offer the best selections for a specific goal market.

What does the product offer?

Shoot for Goals is a near daily tipster service that specialises in bets where both teams have a likelihood to score. Selections are sent out to subscribers via email with the number of bets varying from no bets going up to as many as 5 per day.

The vast majority of these will be both teams to score however The Betting Universe also throw in the occasional accumulator in order to keep the odds looking favourable for punters.

In terms of the numbers, all stakes that Shoot for Goals use are a level affair with The Betting Universe actually using £100 per bet. The coverage is predominantly for English Football however there are the occasional bets in Europe.

Unfortunately, there is no published strike rate however a look through the proofing shows that this should actually be pretty high.

How does the product work?

The Betting Universe unfortunately do not provide any details on what their selection process is with much of the sales material dedicated to selling you the idea of beating the bookie.

The fact is that looking at the games that have been selected they are all what I would call common sense bets and are the kind of call that any fan of football would make.

What is the initial investment?

There are three options when you sign up for Shoot for Goals which are a monthly subscription at a cost of £47, a quarterly subscription at a cost of £97 or you can sign up for the whole year for just £247.

There isn’t any mention of any money back guarantee so I wouldn’t expect there to be anything in place however this is rather common place for a tipster service and so doesn’t count too much against Shoot for Goals.

What is the rate of return?

The claimed average income for Shoot for Goals is between £3,000 and £4,000 per month which is based off the aforementioned £100 per bet staking plan. This means a points profit of 30-40 points which is a respectable enough figure.

Conclusion

It seems unreasonable to say that Shoot for Goals is a bad service as it has been proofed and has demonstrated a pretty solid and consistent profit.

My concerns lie in the fact that as a football based service it is very much in its infancy and this is half way through season. That means that it is very easy to look at the form of teams and leverage this. It is especially poignant when you consider that The Betting Universe don’t provide any details on the selection process.

Personally, I’d come back to Shoot for Goals in a few months to see how it is doing then.
