66 to 1 Review

66 to 1 is a free tipster service operated by Jon of Greentree Consultancy. The service seems to favour horses with longer odds.

What does the product offer?

66 to 1 provides users with tips for horse racing with the number of selections per day depending entirely on the information that Jon and the 66 to 1 team receive. Tips are email based and are sent directly to subscribers. 66 to 1 does seem to favour selecting horses with longer odds. In fact they state in the welcome email that “the first bet of the day will be at least 66/1 in price” which would ultimately suggest a low strike rate (although this is speculative. Greentree Consultancy doesn’t really provide any details of wins/losses).

How does the product work?

66 to 1 makes its initial selections based seemingly off odds. There is probably some work goes on in the background but picking horses rated at 66/1 that have a decent chance of winning is always realistically going to fall to guesswork. Other selections for 66 to 1 may also be sent out based on information that Greentree Consultancy’s network provide.

What is the initial investment?

This is the best part of 66 to 1. It is free to access which seems to be a “for life” deal as there are no mentions of costs down the line.

What is the rate of return?

The rate of return isn’t something that is discussed with 66 to 1’s promotional material. There are examples of winners with odds ranging from 22/1 all the way down to 2/1.

Conclusion

Regardless of whether you think that 66 to 1 is good or bad, it is free. This allows for zero risk in paper trading and ultimately making a decision based off these results. Greentree Consultancy claim to have been operational since 1999 although I can’t find any information on them which is a minor concern.

This is overridden though by the fact that there is no financial risk on your behalf unless you choose for that to be the case. Because of this I am quite happy recommending you check 66 to 1 out.
