AccuTipster Review

AccuTipster is a relatively long standing, predominantly sports betting based website that also offers a number of different free tipster services.

What does the product offer?

AccuTipster is something a little bit different to the norm in so much as the lads behind the service seem to genuinely be interested in helping others to beat the proverbial bookie. As a complete website there are a lot of different aspects to AccuTipster with the team offering news and analysis, run a comprehensive blog which looks at a variety of sports betting related services, and of course there are the tipster services.

The other features that AccuTipster offers aren’t bad.

I would be lying if I said that the AccuTipster team were putting out anything extraordinary, but the content is interesting and it is well written. The thing is that none of this matters with AccuTipster because the team behind it know that we are interested in their selections.

The tips are put out daily and whilst there aren’t necessarily as many as you would get with a premium service, there is a definite sense of quality on offer. These are sent out via email around 10am with bets uploaded to the site slightly earlier than this and the selections are usually at least 5 hours or more from kick off time.

The AccuTipster team take the time to explain why they have made selections and it is here that their knowledge of sports betting shows through.

The bets that you will be placing are all hugely varied and the AccuTipster team are quite big fans of bundling them into accumulators as well in order to get the best possible value.

Unfortunately, what this does mean is that AccuTipster isn’t necessarily the easiest service to follow along with. For example, one 8 fold accumulator has 6 win bets then 2 1 goal Asian Handicap bets.

One of the other things that I find to be interesting about AccuTipster is that they provide selections for the NFL. This is a niche area for betting and honestly, I have seen professional tipsters attempt this tricky league with no real luck.

Whilst I couldn’t pass comment on how AccuTipster do with these bets (for reasons I will look at below), the fact remains that they are free and are something a bit different.

If you don’t know what to do with this, it can certainly be intimidating. In terms of the numbers side of things, it is quite clear that the AccuTipster team only have a limited interest.

They openly profess to offering no staking advice suggesting that this should be down to the individual and there is unfortunately no proofing. This is something that I would typically find to be rather off putting but the beauty of a free tipster service is you can trial it on paper before investing a penny on the selections advised.

How does the product work?

The AccuTipster team are seemingly rather proud of the fact that their service isn’t based around any gimmicks. In fact, they say that all of their selections are simply based around what their writers think are a good bet.

This is something that could easily be a rather worrying point, especially when applied to some tipster services that I have looked at which simply give you a selection, time and odds.

As I have touched upon before now however, the AccuTipster team offer insight into all of their selections which is reassuring.

The logic can differ from one bet to the next with some of the examples that I have looked at discussing the statistics of one team away vs the home team record to a key player returning and even really obvious things are covered.

As a punter, this is hugely beneficial for a number of reasons. First of all, it tells you that your tipster knows what they are talking about.

Secondly, it allows you to improve your own knowledge of the game and betting and finally, you can adapt your bets. What I mean by this is if you feel that some of the selections seem a little questionable, then you can always choose not to play a bet.

What is the initial investment?

I have mentioned at least once that AccuTipster is a free service and that is by far and away the best thing about what is on offer here. In a world of increasingly expensive tipster services it is difficult to find one that is reasonably priced or is free and not complete crap.

There isn’t much more to say on this one however I would advise that just because you aren’t paying a subscription fee, you still keep your bets at a reasonable level.

What is the rate of return?

The nature of AccuTipster makes it a difficult thing in terms of evaluating the final profit and loss potential. Having looked over some of the results (and by no means having carried out extensive research on the subject), I feel like you would likely be in profit with AccuTipster in the long term.

This isn’t however a service that has been designed to land silly incomes by staking your Wife, Kids and Mortgage on a bet. This is something that the AccuTipster team are rather open about and it is refreshing to see this approach.

Conclusion

The fact that AccuTipster is a free tipster service makes it fantastic for those who are simply looking to gain a bit of an edge in their sports betting. One of the other key things for me as well is that it also offers a decent introduction into the world of sports betting.

The fact is that the AccuTipster team have been tipping for 3 years now starting out on Twitter. The have a lot of experience and this shows when they talks about their selections.

There are of course some downsides to AccuTipster, as there are with any service. As I have touched upon, I think that some of the bets are quite alienating to those who aren’t too certain about betting but, having said that, the team are friendly and approachable.

It is generally pretty difficult to find a free tipster service that you wouldn’t recommend simply because any flaws can be overridden by the fact that you aren’t paying for the service, however even at a modest price (with some proper proofing at least) I would possibly be reaching this same conclusion.

This is namely that AccuTipster is definitely worth a look. There is a sea of tipsters out there charging £50 per month for daily football selections and to see some quality for free is refreshing.

Don’t get me wrong, there are some people out there who have accounts with some of the more reputable services I know of who wouldn’t dream of swapping for a free service, but that is to ignore the point.

AccuTipster is capable and it is well suited for purpose and I don’t think I can be fairer than that.
