Audello Review

Audello is a piece of software that allows you to host your own podcast whilst also showing you how to utilise this in order to increase your mailing lists and conversion.

What does the product offer?

Audello is a downloadable piece of software that has been designed to make hosting podcasts on a WordPress website as simple as possible. Audello works with a downloaded piece of software, a web based application and even a mobile phone app. As well as creating your own podcast and recording you can record Skype conversations and turn this into a podcast. Once you have this recorded Audello helps you to integrate it into you WordPress website where you can set up a number of events to pop up during your podcast.

How does the product work?

The recording aspect of Audello seems to be a pretty standard operation however what appears to be hugely beneficial for marketers is the ability to integrate easily and most importantly, provide prompts at the right time to build your mailing list. This can be as simple as talking about things you offer to users who sign up and then having a prompt to discussing affiliate products and having your affiliate link pop up.

What is the initial investment?

Audello has been priced at a one time payment of $197 which includes a $100 discount from the usual price. Audello also comes with a 60 day money back guarantee as it is sold through Clickbank.

What is the rate of return?

Because it is not a direct money making product it is difficult to gauge how much Audello could earn you. Realistically I would expect results to be qualitative rather than quantitative and in that department Audello looks like it should deliver.

Conclusion

Audello is something of a niche product but within this niche it really looks like it can deliver. Whilst I feel that audio will be of limited use to most marketers, if you offer affiliate marketing based on reviews then there is definitely potential to use the pop ups to your advantage. The pricing for Audello is reasonably fair given the fact that the cost is just a one off however it is worth noting that there are a number of semi-professional audio suites available for similar money. This is where the momentum that Audello has gained falters a little.

As a piece of audio recording software there is likely much better out there for a similar price, if not cheaper. However it is the ability to market based around your podcasts that makes Audello such a valuable tool.
