Best Bets for Today is a new to market tipster service which is operated by one Peter Sanders. He claims that his betting advice can produce some pretty decent profits.
Introduction to Best Bets for Today
Usually, the tipster services that I look at don’t have a whole lot about them that really makes them stand out. Well, except for the blatantly ridiculous claims that are made that is. I have lost count of the amount of tipster services that I have looked at this year that claim to make you six figures. Not surprisingly, they don’t really work.
Peter Sanders however has taken a very interesting approach to the marketing for his tipster service, Best Bets for Today. Now I won’t dwell on it here because it becomes a pretty big thing a little later on, but it is certainly unique. What I will say though, is that it somewhat makes it difficult to really weight up whether or not the service is any good.
None the less, there are still some claims made that suggest that n theory, Best Bets for Today could turn out to be a decent offering. So, with all of this in mind, I will try my best to keep an open mind to proceedings. And with all of that out of the way, let’s dive in and see whether or not this is really the bargain that Peter Sanders makes it seem like.
What Does Best Bets for Today Offer?
One of the things that you will find me doing a lot over the course of this review is comparing Best Bets for Today to other tipster services (as well as itself, interestingly). This isn’t necessarily to draw direct comparisons, but to create some context for everything that Peter Sanders does. A lot of this is because there is some discrepancy between things that are claimed, and how things are.
So, what exactly are you getting with Best Bets for Today? The short answer to this is a mixed tipster service which specialises in providing selections for both football and horse racing. Now, in theory, I will admit that this sounds like a decent thing. A tipster service that covers the two largest betting markets for one low cost. What a winner, right?
Especially when you factor in that the way that Peter Sanders operates Best Bets for Today, you can expect to receive selections “7 days a week – Monday to Sunday”. That is appealing and make no mistake. From what I have seen so far, it appears that you really will be receiving selections 7 days a week as well.
At first, I will admit that this sounds like a strong positive, however I am not entirely convinced. By and large, the better tipsters that I have looked at are quite happy to take days where they just don’t bet.
The consensus amongst professionals is that there is no point betting for the sake of betting, so for Peter Sanders to find bets every single day… Well, it’s a little bit concerning if I’m entirely honest.
Moving away from this a little bit, I want to talk about the logistics of things. Best Bets for Today is operated in much the way that you would expect most modern tipster services to. That is to say that selections are sent out to subscribers directly via email. Peter Sanders seems to send these out on the morning of racing/the games.
In terms of the bets, you would perhaps expect some variance in terms of the specific markets. Sure, it is hard to find different bet types in terms of horse racing, but when it comes to football, there are loads out there. And given that Best Bets for Today is based on value, I am surprised that these aren’t being utilised to be honest. This is not present though.
Because of the bet types involved, you won’t find particularly high odds here. The fact that Best Bets for Today is value based does provide some middling options for horse racing, but by and large, there is a limit here.
Finally, I want to talk a little bit about the volume of bets. Peter Sanders says that you can expect to receive as many as 7 bets on a given day. Now this top end doesn’t seem to happen often, but it is definitely a possibility. And with a big run of these, depending on your staking plan, this can start to add up.
Which brings me to a very salient point. There isn’t really any staking plan included with Best Bets for Today (at least, that I have seen). Personally, I would be inclined to stick to level stakes here of just 1 point. I feel like there is a pretty significant level of risk involved with Best Bets for Today which is glossed over. But, if you weren’t familiar with betting, this could lead to significant losses.
Using those 1 point bets as a jumping off point, I also think I would be inclined to recommend using a 100 point betting bank. This should be enough to tackle any losing streaks that you encounter whilst still allowing for some level of affordability.
Now, there isn’t any strike rate which is available for Best Bets for Today. This is a bit of a problem for me, especially given the fact that there is no proofing provided either. Sure, Peter Sanders tells us that there are “daily winners” and “consistent performance”, but I am of the opinion that this isn’t really good enough.
How Does Best Bets for Today Work?
Moving on to how Best Bets for Today is supposed to work, frankly, there isn’t a whole lot of information provided. Peter Sanders makes some vague mentions, but there isn’t anything that I would necessarily consider to be close to concrete.
We are, for example, told that Peter Sanders and his team are up at the crack of dawn studying everything from form to weather. From here, we are told that they are then well positioned to find the best selections by the time that kick off or the racing starts. This ties in with a vague claim that there is a team of tipsters behind the service.
As well as this, there is also that vague mention of value. Now I will admit that I am never really sure how much weight to put on this kind of claim. The fact of the matter is that simply saying that you look to take advantage of value is so commonplace these days. And it isn’t something that is tangible without further details.
This is something that is frustratingly missing from Best Bets for Today with no real detail provided about these selection processes. Everything is incredibly vague and with no proofing, it isn’t even like you can feasibly expect to get a good idea of what to expect from the service in the long term.
What is the Initial Investment?
There are two different options that are available if you want to subscribe to Best Bets for Today. The first of these is a quarterly subscription which is priced at £30 for 3 months (plus VAT). Representing better value is Peter Sanders’s annual option which is priced at £100 (again, plus VAT).
It is worth noting that both of these options come with a full 60 day money back guarantee. This is backed up by the fact that Best Bets for Today is being sold through the Clickbank platform. One of the few things that I can commend Peter Sanders for is the fact that this is at least well advertised.
What is the Rate of Return?
Now, I spent a lot of time talking about how the marketing for Best Bets for Today is pretty unique, and that comes down to the fact that there aren’t any claims made about how much you can expect to earn. That for me is a bloody big problem. What we are instead told is that you can expect to see “month in month out profits”.
For my money, this is purposely vague and not nearly good enough. There are a lot of reasons for this, but without a shadow of doubt, the primary one is that we are all here to make money. Without any idea of what you can realistically expect to earn, it pretty much shuts things down before they’ve even begun.
Conclusion for Best Bets for Today
It probably shouldn’t come as any surprise at this point to learn that I wouldn’t really recommend Best Bets for Today. Honestly, there are a lot of elements of the service that are missing. This ranges from the lack of information on the selection process to that very distinctive lack of proofing.
But of course, there is one thing more than anything else that very clearly stands out. And I know, I’ve talked about this quite a lot already, but I will definitely be returning to this point. You have no idea how much money you can expect to make! This is such a salient point that it is hard to ignore it.
Sure, there are potentially some people who might look at just £10 per month and think to themselves, well, that’s not a huge amount of money. Maybe it’s worth a punt? But I’m just not sold on that at all. At the end of the day, if you aren’t spending a lot of money on a crappy tipster service, you are still paying for a crappy tipster service.
And here’s the thing. On the subject of that pricing, I don’t think that it’s a coincidence that Peter Sanders is providing his tips for 3 months. This is conveniently long enough that it isn’t inconceivable that people may end up missing out on that 60 day money back window.
Of course, that isn’t actually to say that this is the case. I could well be wrong, but when you start to bring together all of the negatives that ultimately surround Best Bets for Today, I find it very difficult to believe that Peter Sanders is operating a genuine tipster service.
Honestly, I have tried to balance out Best Bets for Today and think of some positives to the service, but I can’t. There isn’t a single element here that really warrants the time, the money, or the effort involved. It has been a long time since I’ve seen a tipster service that has as little substance as this. And as such, I can say with confidence, this deserves a very wide berth.
