Betsoon Review

Betsoon is a tipster service from Owen Hargreaves that provides daily tips for a huge number of sports and also horse racing.

What does the product offer?

Owen Hargreaves sends out selections daily to Betsoon subscribers with anywhere between 50 and 200 selections per month depending on your subscription package. Over the last 12 months Betsoon has achieved an average strike rate of 57.55% which sounds strong, but since January this number is actually much closer to 47%. The service covers all kinds of sports but the subscriptions are broken down into football, horse racing and US sports/tennis.

How does the product work?

There is no information provided as to the selection process behind Owen Betsoon which is rather disappointing, especially given the fact that this seems to be a one man operation and yet covers such a wide variety of sports. One can only speculate that because of the variety covered that Betsoon will use some kind of statistical analysis.

What is the initial investment?

As mentioned, the subscriptions for Betsoon are broken down into football, tennis and US sports and horse racing. For any one of these Betsoon costs €149.99 per month, for any two it costs €199.99 per month and for all three it costs €249.99 per month. There is no mention of any money back guarantee for any of these.

What is the rate of return?

Over the last 11 months Owen Hargreaves claims that Betsoon has made an average of €1,406.50 per month .This figure does include however an exceptional month where Betsoon made over €7,500. If you look at more typical results the earnings are closer to €824.83 per month.

Conclusion

Betsoon’s biggest downside is the huge costs that are involved. Even a single package costs around 3 time what most tipster services do and for that cost, the results are rather average and that’s accounting for the €7,500 month. There have also been a number of losing months in 2014 which makes me wonder if this isn’t the start of a trend. Really though, the price is the killer for me and I simply can’t justify €149.99 per month for a tipster service.
