Bundesliga Winners is a new to market sports betting tipster service that is managed by Best System Bets with selections coming courtesy of Frederik Wolff. There are some very interesting claims made about what the service is capable of.
Introduction to Bundesliga Winners
I don’t think that it’s any secret that football betting can be notoriously difficult to actually make a profit from. This is in no small part down toe the fact that pretty much across the board, the odds just aren’t that great. But there is still a lot of nuance in all of this. There are a few different ways that people will try to extract additional value, but the main one is to ultimately explore more niche betting markets. This can be the actual bets that you are placing, but increasingly, I see tipsters looking at other leagues than the main British ones.
This latter is the approach that Bundesliga Winners leans into. As the name implies, the whole service is based around betting on top flight German football. In theory, this opens up opportunities. After all, something that I’ve said on many occasions is that being a profitable bettor is ultimately about knowing more than the bookies. And if Frederik Wolff and Best System Bets are to be believed, he knows plenty more than the bookies. Resultantly, there are seemingly some rather impressive profits to be had by following his advice.
All of this sounds like a solid service. As is often the case though, once you start to look at Bundesliga Winners properly though, I’m not convinced that it looks quite as good. Furthermore, there are some very real questions that need to be asked about Frederik Wolff and his ability to deliver. Because I don’t really believe that Best System Bets provide enough to say that anything here is close to definitive. I know I sound overly cynical, but it is ultimately for quite a good reason. So, with all of that said, let’s get into it.
What Does Bundesliga Winners Offer?
There is a lot about Bundesliga Winners that can be a positive, but can also be a reason not to like a service. I want to be upfront about that because there will be a few times where I am writing about this and it will seem like I’m contradicting myself. To some degree, that is the case. But it isn’t just a blind thing. There is actually solid reasoning for it.
The first place that this becomes apparent is when you look at how Frederik Wolff and Best System Bets manage the service. Bundesliga Winners has a very clear structure, and whilst this is something that can be a huge boon because a tipster knows that they have something that works… sometimes it can simply be that somebody has started with an idea that looks or sounds good and worked backwards to a tipster service.
In the case of Bundesliga Winners, what this means is effectively 6 different bets. And as the name suggests, the focus is entirely on the Bundesliga. Specifically, Frederik Wolff provides subscribers with 5 selections for every week. There is also a single accumulator that is provided each week as well.
All of this is ultimately rather manageable, even if it does raise a number of questions (as I will explore a little later). And whilst we’re on the topic of management, this is about as typical an experience as you could hope to experience. Selections are set out directly via email on the morning of a gale, all that you have to do is place the bets as advised.
To some degree, this is where some of the… I’ll be generous and say inconveniences of Bundesliga Winners rear their head. All of which are rather interlinked. Firstly, I will say that betting on the Bundesliga does give slightly better odds than say, the Premier League. That extra value is a positive, but you’re still not dealing with big winners here. Far from it, in fact.
This means that there is merit to actively trying to seek out the best possible odds that you can. Which of course means taking advantage of an odds comparison site. This is unfortunately standard fare for most tipster services and as such, it doesn’t count too much against Bundesliga Winners when comparing it to its contemporaries.
Furthermore, Frederik Wolff and Best System Bets do send out selections a decent amount of time before kick off. This means that there is actually time to do this. More than can be said for some tipsters. But you do still need to move quite quickly here. Odds can move quickly and any edge that you get from getting bets on early will be quickly eroded. This is a real consideration for Bundesliga Winners.
Moving on from this, I want to talk about odds. As you might expect, this is ultimately a low odds service. But just how low are the odds that we’re dealing with here? Well, for some context, the “proofing” for Bundesliga Winners shows the biggest winner is about 3/1. This was on one of the acca bets, so you can imagine how low priced the individual selections are.
Now, let’s talk numbers. A level staking plan is recommended with Frederik Wolff and Best System Bets showing the small handful of bets that are provided as evidence being backed to £50 stakes. This is all fair enough. Effectively, Bundesliga Winners is just using a 1 point staking plan which is typical for this sort of thing.
Unfortunately, context is massively lacking. There is no information provided at all about what kind of betting bank you need to be getting on with Bundesliga Winners. Personally, because of the unpredictable nature of football betting, the lack of proofing and evidence that is provided, and a cynical nature… well, I’d want a pretty big bank. At least 100 points. But it is disappointing that these are things that as a paying punter you have to sort yourself.
The thing is, if you just take Frederik Wolff and Best System Bets at their word, that is a silly number. You see, you will supposedly be winning a hell of a lot here. How much? Well, it is claimed that a strike rate of 68.54% was attained over the 2020/21 season. Given that there isn’t anything backing this up though, I do question this. Especially because what I’ve seen of Bundesliga Winners so far isn’t really in line with it.
How Does Bundesliga Winners Work?
One of the biggest issues with Bundesliga Winners is a lack of information. Something that ultimately runs through a lot of the service in different ways. Where it is particularly apparent in my mind though is the distinctive lack of information on how it actually works. Frankly, Frederik Wolff and Best System Bets talk a lot of waffle in this regard. They make some good sounding claims. What they don’t really do however is provide any of the important details.
For example, a lot is made of the fact that Frederik Wolff supposedly used to play for a local small team playing in (what at the time would have been) the bottom tiers of German league football. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, he goes on to say that he saw a huge amount of income potential betting on German football. Ultimately this seemingly ended up being Bundesliga Winners. It all makes some sort of sense. Right?
The thing is, it doesn’t. Not really. Best System Bets don’t really provide any information at all about what Frederik Wolff is doing to find selections. That is a bit of an issue for me. At the end of the day, I don’t think it’s an unreasonable thing to want to understand at least a bit why you’re backing a certain bet. I don’t expect a detailed, step by step breakdown. But I don’t think some insight into how Bundesliga Winners works is an unreasonable notion.
Adding to this is that there is effectively no proofing provided for Bundesliga Winners. We are shown exactly 6 bets. A single week. This really isn’t good enough in my mind. Especially not when you think about the fact that Frederik Wolff and Best System Bets actively talk about results for the last year. It would seem that there are some records. So why aren’t they given? There aren’t many reasons that I can think of that aren’t… well, a bit questionable.
What is the Initial Investment?
Eschewing their typical wide ranging payment options for Bundesliga Winners, Best System Bets are offering a much more pared down offering. It is however remarkably inexpensive. The first subscription you can sign up for is to receive selections for a full season. This is really quite reasonably priced at just £32.95 (plus VAT) for the year.
Alternatively, for £64.95 (again, plus VAT ) you can get a lifetime subscription to Bundesliga Winners. This works out at slightly less than twice the price of a year. Of course this represents significantly better value. And to be fair to Best System Bets, they do tend to keep their services going for a decent amount of time. As such, you will theoretically get your moneys worth out of it.
Something worth keeping in mind though is that there isn’t any sort of money back guarantee or refund period in place for Bundesliga Winners. As such, once you are signed up on these really quite lengthy subscriptions to Frederik Wolff’s selections, you’re tied into it.
What is the Rate of Return?
The headlining claim for Bundesliga Winners is that you can “Bank A Whopping €1,000 Every Month With Würzburger Kickers’ Very Own Frederik Wolff”. Adding to this notion, Best System Bets also claim in the sales material that you can “Gross An Incredible €12,374 Per Season From The German League”. Make no mistakes about it, those are some massively impressive numbers.
There are however a few things that I would like to qualify here that are… well, a bit curious. Firstly, this claimed income is in Euros. However, the few bets that are proven are all in pounds. So, it doesn’t seem unreasonable to change this to a total of £10,562 of profit overall and £853 per month for Bundesliga Winners.
Using Frederik Wolff’s £50 stakes, this would mean a monthly profit of about 17 points and a profit for the season of 211 points. These are very strong numbers for a service that places just 6 bets per week. I just don’t necessarily a huge amount of reason to put too much faith in them.
Conclusion for Bundesliga Winners
There are a few key issues that I have with Bundesliga Winners, and you can probably already see where they’re coming from. First things first, there is the fact that Frederik Wolff doesn’t actually provide any information on how he is finding bets. This is always something that I find to be problematic with any tipster service. But there is more to it here.
You see, a big part of this service, intentionally or not is that bets are being found with such regularity. 6 bets per week, week in, and week out. This means that Frederik Wolff is finding a decent selection for more than half of the games in a given game week. To be clear, this isn’t unfeasible. As a punter though, you’re just blindly taking their word that they can deliver.
I know there is all that stuff about how he supposedly played for a low level team (claims that are of course incredibly difficult to verify). Arguably this might offer some insight into what players are going through etc. But there is a world of difference between amateur level post Cold War and what elite athletes go through now. I don’t really believe this adds much weight to Bundesliga Winners. Especially when you look at it in a critical light.
Then there is the fact that there simply isn’t any evidence that Bundesliga Winners is capable of delivering on… well, anything. That almost 70% strike rate (a massive number that is more in line with what I might expect from a horse racing laying service I would hasten to add) is completely unsubstantiated. For all intents and purposes, it is just a number on a page.
Of course, there is the lack of proofing. We’re shown a single week. That simply isn’t good enough in my book. Especially when you’re tying people down for so long like Best System Bets are with Bundesliga Winners. Like I said earlier, it isn’t even like this information shouldn’t be about. As such, it simply strikes me as suspicious that this wouldn’t be shared.
The only real saving grace here that I can see is that if you wanted to take a punt, Bundesliga Winners isn’t that expensive. But that doesn’t mean that it’s something that I’d recommend. The fact of the matter is that you’re still tying yourself up for a long time with no real method of recourse. Frederik Wolff might be genuine, this might deliver. But everything I have seen suggests this is unlikely to be the case.
