Digital Gold Empire is a brand new product from Jim Hunt. It is currently being offered through Streetwise Publications and takes advantage of the eponymous “Digital Gold” to generate some supposedly huge profits.

What does the product offer?

I always enjoy looking at anything from Streetwise Publications. This is in no small part down to the fact that their marketing is by far and away some of the most entertaining that I get to look at. In the case of Digital Gold Empire, this is demonstrated beautifully. I would like to open with the headline for the service:

“£23,932 A Month Skimmed From “Shadow Banks” With Zero Work, On Autopilot, Legally!”.

This is an incredibly claim. Where do you even begin to dissect it in fact? I have my ideas from experience but I am not ashamed to admit that even now I find myself overwhelmed by their approach.

This isn’t just the headlines however. The whole of the marketing material for the service is in this vein. Whilst all of this is well and good to a degree, based off my historic research, there is often a lot of disparity between the claims made in the marketing and the end results for their products. Rather more worryingly, there is often also discrepancy between what the service is sold as and what it is. With all of this in mind, you will have to excuse me if I seem overly cynical in this look at Digital Gold Empire.

When looking at an offering from Streetwise Publications, there are two things that you have to consider in terms of what is on offer. The first is the physical item. Fortunately, this is usually bang on. In the case of Digital Gold Empire, it is a set of DVDs which Jim Hunt says will show you how to take advantage of his methods as well as a few bonus items which I will cover below.  It is important to note however that you will receive just one DVD per month. There are also weekly online seminars as well.

You’ll find little argument from me on this front. The second thing however is the concept of what is on offer. The second aspect I have touched on, and that is the imbalance between the claims and the reality of a product.

So, what is Digital Gold Empire all about?

What is the digital gold that is referred to in all of the marketing for Jim Hunt’s product? There is very little point in trying to hide the fact that they are referring to Bitcoin. There are a number of hypotheticals which are cited that I know for a fact refer to the cryptocurrency. The example of a piJim Hunta being bought for 10,000 bitcoins is probably the best known example of a transaction made involving the currency. It also seals the fact that this is what Digital Gold Empire is based around.

According to the marketing material, all that you have to do is sit back whilst the rather secretive sounding shadow banks make money for you. Seemingly large amounts of money as well. The claims made are very from insignificant. There is some truth to this however I will cover all of this in much greater detail below.

The only thing left that I want to look at in terms of what is on offer is the bonuses included with Digital Gold Empire. The first of these is an introductory guide to buying “digital gold”. The next relates to spread betting with Bitcoin and finally, there is information on the subject. All of these are only generally helpful if you don’t know a lot about the subject.

How does Digital Gold Empire work?

It wouldn’t be fair to go into any detail on what Digital Gold Empire entails however I am comfortable giving an overview. In fact, I feel that it is necessary as Jim Hunt and Streetwise Publications seem to go out of their way to obfuscate information on what you will actually be doing. This is rather telling to me as the actual core premise of Digital Gold Empire is incredibly simple.

When it comes to trading Bitcoin there are a few different types of people. Some are serious investors who will buy in bulk with the sole intention of holding onto a commodity. There are also people who use Bitcoin as a bank of sorts. These are the kinds of people that you are supposed to be targeting with Digital Gold Empire. You will generally buy bitcoins for much less than you can sell them for as people are looking to liquidate an asset.

I should point out that this is a very crude depiction of Digital Gold Empire. There is a lot more to the service however I don’t see this as the place to go into detail. I also want to mention the fact that there is a narrative to the marketing whereby Jim Hunt’s friend tells him about the idea behind Digital Gold Empire but this is ultimately padding and has no real insight into the product.

What is the initial investment?

Usually I find that I am put off by products from Streetwise Publications as they come with massive and seemingly unreasonable costs. In the case of Digital Gold Empire however, I believe that this falls just about into the realm of reasonable. Jim Hunt is asking £29.95 per month (plus VAT) in order to receive further DVDs. It is also definitely worth pointing out that Digital Gold Empire comes with a 30 day money back guarantee. This means that if you don’t like the product, you can return it “within 30 days, in ANY condition, for ANY reason, and I’ll send you a full refund of your money”.

What is the rate of return?

The income potential of Digital Gold Empire is something that I definitely want to take the time to address. Streetwise Publications as a company have a habit of taking the profits of their products to an extreme and Digital Gold Empire shows this in a big way. I have already covered the headlining number of £23,923 per month. Of course this is a ludicrous figure and I would be very surprised if anybody using Digital Gold Empire was able to make this kind  of money. In fact, I would be inclined to say that you would need some very deep pockets to get close. This is the only income claimed in the sales material outside of vague references to how the value of “digital gold” has increased exponentially in value.

Conclusion on Digital Gold Empire?

Streetwise Publications are incredibly good at identifying their target audience and figuring out the best way to market to them. In the case of Digital Gold Empire however, I am not sure who they have aimed at. The whole need to pretend that “digital gold” and the fact that the product is shipped on DVD suggests that this may well be aimed at people who are perhaps a little bit off the ball. Of course this could also be me making a massive leap, but honestly, this line of thought is something that is important to me.

Here’s the thing, I’m well aware of Bitcoin. Now I will hold my hands up and say that I wasn’t aware of the strategy that Digital Gold Empire brings together and honestly, it is quite creative. There are some strong positives to the product and I will give full credit to Jim Hunt where it is due. Honestly, the main reason that I believe that this may well be aimed at people who aren’t fully aware of Bitcoin etc. is that Digital Gold Empire feels a little bit padded out. This isn’t inherently a bad thing, but ultimately any product is about value.

This segues nicely into my next point which is the question of value for money. Honestly, this isn’t too bad in my opinion. I can genuinely say that the content is worth the money, even if it does feel a little bloated (but again, there is the point of target audience). Quite how many months you will need to follow Digital Gold Empire for is a larger question however this will clearly differ from one person to another.

If there is one issue that I do have with Digital Gold Empire it is the same one that I have with so many products from Streetwise Publications and that is how inflated the potential of the product is. I don’t dispute that there is money making potential here, but to claim almost £25,000 per month is just silly. Whilst it is probably plausible (I know that Streetwise Publications are very good at covering their backs in this regard) but to the vast majority of users, you would probably do well to get near this figure in a year.

So what does all of this mean? I think that if you are looking to get on the Bitcoin bandwagon and are looking for a reasonable entry point then Digital Gold Empire may be worth a look. In order for this to be applicable however I think that you really have to not know much. It really is a starting point with a simple approach. Those who are already involved with trading etc. are unlikely to find anything new here. It isn’t for everyone, but I have to admit that Jim Hunt and Streetwise Publications have actually put together a reasonable product for the right person here.
