Double Delights Review – Bet Viral

Double Delights is a new to market horse racing tipster service that is operated by Anthony White that boasts some handsome profits. The service is managed by newly founded tipster stable, Bet Viral.

Introduction to Double Delights

There are a lot of different ways of approaching profitable betting. And in my opinion, as long as you’re thinking long term, there doesn’t tend to be much in the way of right and wrong ways to do this. Ultimately, it depends on what you are looking for. But whilst one way might not necessarily be “better”, there can still be a world of difference between them. And the fact of the matter is that when you start leaning towards the extremes of these differences, well, you can end up with a service that isn’t necessarily for everyone.

I think this is a very important context to set up when looking at Double Delights. This is a service that, almost as soon as I started looking at it, I knew would be polarising. Whilst Anthony White has undoubtedly produced some really quite incredible results (as Bet Viral are very keen to point out, which makes sense given that this is their flagship “launch” product), the way that he has produced them may not suit everybody. In actual fact, if I’m really honest about it, this is the kind of service that really won’t suit some people.

Of course, I’ll talk about all of that in more detail over the course of this review. But what has definitely stood out for me is very simple. An average monthly profit of 90 points between June and December. Double Delights could be massively profitable. Of course, there are caveats to that. You have to be very precise in how you respond to Anthony White’s advice, as the proofing that Bet Viral provide demonstrates. The big question there though is a simple one. Is it worth the time and effort to do so?

What Does Double Delights Offer?

There can be a hell of a lot in the name of a tipster service. In the case of Double Delights… well, I think that Anthony White really tells you most of what he is doing right there. But that doesn’t mean that there isn’t a lot to explore still, because there is. In fact, I think that it is particularly important with this product given that it is Bet Viral’s first.

With that in mind, I want to start by looking at the way that the service is managed. In many respects, this is probably much as you would expect from pretty much any modern tipster stable. There are however some differences that I want to explore. So, as you might expect, selections for Double Delights are sent out directly to subscribers via email. There is a reasonable amount of information contained within these, but it isn’t ideal.

The fact is that Bet Viral aren’t quite up to the standard of some other services I’ve looked at. Whether this is down to them or Anthony White, I don’t know. It isn’t terrible mind, it’s just not as good as it could be. Something that is better than most though, is the option receive selections via a Telegram group.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Telegram, it is a group messaging app that reports to be the fastest in the world. For my money, this is the best way to use Double Delights. Getting a notification on my phone will always be better than yet another notification in the several thousands of unread emails that I have.

Now, let’s talk about the bets. As the name suggests, Anthony White likes to bet on doubles. Specifically, he likes to bet on each way doubles. Something that makes a lot of sense on paper. It increases the odds of you actually winning because both horse only need to place, but importantly, it carries the chance of massive odds winners from Double Delights.

That is something that you really want to see here too. Because Bet Viral’s proofing shows that when Anthony White wins big, he wins big. This has ultimately culminated in a win that produced a truly mind blowing 104.8 points of profit. And it is in these massive wins that the real potential of Double Delights lies.

Full disclosure though, that winner was to BOG. And it is absolutely imperative that you are getting as close to this as possible if you want to make Double Delights work for you. In actual fact, I would recommend using an odds comparison site if you can. This isn’t just because you are trying to maximise winnings, but minimising losses. Something that is very pertinent.

Unfortunately, this can be difficult. Double Delights is quite a high volume service. There have been almost 1,750 bets advised since Bet Viral started proofing this. Furthermore, there is a lot of disparity in how Anthony White offers selections too. The highest number of bets in a single day was 14. But this number isn’t entirely unique with over 10 bets per day being a somewhat common occurrence.

Which brings me to the additional factor of the stakes that are involved with Double Delights. Bet Viral show proofed bets are at 2 points per bet. This makes sense in the grand scheme of things, but it does mean more than 20 points per day staked. Anthony White does recommend a robust betting bank that should be able to take this, but it is something that I full acknowledge some people may not be comfortable with.

This is extra applicable when you look at the drawdown potential. Even somewhat recently, Double Delights has demonstrated this. Halfway through December, Anthony White was 644.89 points up. This bottomed out with a losses amounting to almost 100 points with December 27th closing on 555.42 points. That is a bloody significant losing run (and again, to BOG). Sure, the month ended up in profit. But that doesn’t matter if you join at the start of that period.

All of this is theoretically offset by an average strike rate of 23.62%. A number that actually seems to be pretty genuinely indicative of how Double Delights will perform. And in theory, all going to plan, that is more than enough to ensure that some profit is made. Although it doesn’t always necessarily mean a lot of profit is made.

How Does Double Delights Work?

In terms of how Double Delights works, Bet Viral provide some information, but not necessarily information that you necessarily want. You see, we are told that Anthony White has been betting on a NAP of the day for the past few years, and that whilst it has supposedly been profitable for him, it became “tedious and not so thrilling with short prices cropping up regularly”. So, he says, he started spicing up his betting and backing each way doubles on the two best value horses of the day.

This is all a bit long winded, but it establishes a few things. Importantly, that Double Delights is a value based service (as I feel you’d probably expect). From there, the sales material talks about Anthony White’s “extensive knowledge of winning at the races”. A bit of a nothing statement really. Adding to this is the statement “My selection process identifies the best value, quality and probability of each Horse resulting”. Barely insightful really.

There are problems with all of this, If I’m really honest. What it tells me is that whilst Double Delights probably has some grounding in something. What are aren’t actually being given is much insight into how Anthony White is finding the bets that he is advising. It isn’t the be all and end all though. It is more than some tipster stables offer, and there are further mitigating circumstances.

Probably not surprisingly, the main part of this is the proofing that Bet Viral provide. This details every bet that Anthony White has advised through Double Delights and is updated regularly. Whilst this isn’t a replacement for understanding of a betting approach, it does mean that you can get an idea of what the ebb and flow of the service is like. And due to the nature of this, I would say that is arguably the single most important thing.

What is the Initial Investment?

There are three different options available if you want to sign up to Double Delights and these all vary quite significantly. The first option is a “monthly” subscription. Priced at £34 per month, that might not seem too bad. However, something that Bet Viral rather disappointingly fail to mention is that this “monthly” subscription is charged every 28 days. This means that you’ll pay it out 13 times in a year.

The next option is a quarterly subscription. This is priced at £36 for the first 3 months, after which it renews at £68 per quarter. That isn’t necessarily terribly priced, but it is a long way from the best value option for Double Delights. This is a one time payment of £69 for which you get access to Anthony White’s selections for 6 months.

Something incredibly important to keep in mind with all of these options is that payment is handled directly via PayPal (who are notoriously difficult to deal with when it comes to betting products). Furthermore, the only way to cancel those subscriptions is to do it yourself through Paypal, making it quite easy to miss/forget. And with Bet Viral offering no refunds etc. and PayPal being what they are, there is very little recourse.

What is the Rate of Return?

All of that is theoretically worth it though, right? Like I said in my introduction, this is a service with average monthly profits of 90 points. That means 632.58 points of profit between June and December. Huge numbers and make no mistakes. Except, all of this actually needs to be put into some context.

Whilst Double Delights has had four different 100 point plus months (including a 192.83 point month in September), it has also had profit of 1.96 points, 10.54 points, and 21.03 point. Drastically different results. And once again, I am going to bring up the most important point of all. This is all to BOG.

You see, to SP, Double Delights has actually lost 326.76 points. That’s a massive amount of money to lose out on, especially when you consider that it is simply the difference between getting the best possible odds, and the only odds that you can really guarantee for people. That is a massively concerning difference (almost 1,000 points) with the only modifier being the time bets are placed.

Conclusion for Double Delights

For everything that is a positive about Double Delights, there are just as many things that are negatives. This of course means that you almost inevitably end up with a neutral perspective. And probably not all that surprisingly, that is going to be roughly the outcome here. But it is also so much more nuanced than this.

Firstly, I want to highlight just how much more I could have talked about the results. The fact that they are inflated by those 2 point stakes, that the ROI is a really quite modest 18% (again, to BOG). I could explore what all of that means, and it would be a very valid argument. But all of that is irrelevant next to the points that I highlighted.

Then there are other considerations too. The massive volume of bets is a bit of a problem. For a lot of people really. Not just in so much as the amount that you are staking on a given day (more than a few hundred quid on those busier days, and more than a grand to the £50 stakes that are mentioned in the sales material). But also actually getting those bets on.

I know that I’m hammering this point home bloody hard, but it isn’t without cause. Because you have to get all of those 14 bets on to BOG. If you’re not, you’re potentially facing losing massive amounts of money in the long term. That’s a big ask. Especially because you then also have to factor in that Anthony White is very specific about how many places you have to get on some of the bets. Yet another element and complication.

I could keep talking about it. About the drawdown potential, about the work involved, about the money that you need to have set aside. But here’s the bottom line for it all. Double Delights won’t be for everybody. In fact, if I’m really honest, I don’t even think that it is something that will be for most people. And on those grounds, I can say that I wouldn’t really look to recommend it.

But with that said, it is also hard to ignore the potential of this. For all of the problems that I have listed, you’re still looking at a service that, to advised stakes and BOG, has produced some truly incredible profit. And once again, I do want to provide context for this. Because it highlights just how well Anthony White has performed with Double Delights.

I would expect a top performing tipster service to see about 300-320 points in a year. Bet Viral show that Double Delights has made almost twice that in 7 months. And that is the reason that this cannot be written off. Whilst I wouldn’t recommend it for most people, and completely acknowledge the risk involved, there is no denying that those numbers are truly incredible.
