Double Your Way to a Million Review – Streetwise Publications

Double Your Way to a Million is a new service which is being offered by Streetwise Publications in conjunction with one Barry Tyler. It claims to simplify the process of becoming a millionaire.

Introduction to Double Your Way to a Million

Three times now I have tried to find the beginnings of an introduction for Double Your Way to a Million. There are a lot of reasons for this, but honestly, most of it is just me being flabbergasted by the balls on Barry Tyler. His claims are incredible and I will hold my hands up and say that there is a dangerous kind of rationale to what he has to say.

None of this however means that the end result is necessarily any good. If I am about as honest as I can be, and you could well stop reading here and now if you wanted to, and you would save yourself a lot of time (time that I wish I could have saved myself). Double Your Way to a Million is exactly the kind of product which works very well on paper and in theory. The execution however is much much more difficult. Let’s have a look at why.

What Does Double Your Way to a Million Offer?

First of all, I want to highlight something that Barry Tyler says quite clearly in his sales material and I think that it is worth noting. Double Your Way to a Million is not necessarily there in order to guide you to a million pounds. Whilst Barry Tyler is adamant that it can (I am less convinced), the idea appears to be that you should aim towards the vague goal of financial freedom.

This realigning of expectation is very important because frankly, I don’t believe that Double Your Way to a Million does what it says on the  tin.

So what do you actually get for your money? Double Your Way to a Million comes as a monthly booklet which is delivered to your home address. Barry Tyler however refers to it as a “36- page private wealth briefing”. This is a very impressive sounding term and I will admit that it makes Double Your Way to a Million sound a lot better than anything that I would put out.

It is important to note that whilst there are products based around Double Your Way to a Million that have a similar concept, Double Your Way to a Million does seem to be a little bit unique for reasons that I will go into later.

I don’t want to talk too much about the content of Double Your Way to a Million here. Not least of which is because from what I have seen, you won’t ever truly be done with the course. This is very much an ongoing thing and it frustrates me that Barry Tyler and Streetwise Publications don’t really talk a lot about this To create some context, the term monthly is used just 7 times in the whole sales page.

I don’t think that it is fair to say that Double Your Way to a Million is presented as something that it isn’t, but I do think that information is skipped over a bit. Unfortunately, in my professional opinion, this only has a negative effect on the wider view of the product.

As well as Double Your Way to a Million itself, Barry Tyler and Streetwise Publications include a number of bonus products. These are all based around the concept of increasing your wealth. There is a copy of The Midas Method (a common giveaway from Streetwise Publications), “How to Make £1,000 a Day Before Breakfast” (a PDF which is shipped out on a CD) and How to Generate Huge Profits From Multiple Income Streams.

This latter is a series of DVDs and is a seminar hosted by Barry Tyler. It is worth noting however that it is split into 4 DVDs, of which you receive one per month. Finally, you get a report titled “The Seven Secrets of How to Make Money From Your Web Site”.

How Does Double Your Way to a Million Work?

The core idea of Double Your Way to a Million is a very straight forward one. Depending on how much money you have at a given time, your aim is to use that to double it and start again. This means that there are a huge number of methods involved. So many in fact that Barry Tyler doesn’t seem to talk about any of them. I wouldn’t want to give anything away here that is detailed as I don’t believe that it would be fair, however there are a few things that I can touch upon.

First of all, from what I have seen so far, there is nothing included with Double Your Way to a Million that suggests that you will see anything new or ground breaking. Secondly, the ideas that are on offer are constantly being reviewed and you will receive new information every month (a topic that I want to talk about a little later).

The focus is generally on methods of making money “here and now” and are pretty basic in their level of detail. Those who are looking for clear step by step instructions will want to look elsewhere.

What is the Initial Investment?

At the time of writing this, Streetwise Publications and Barry Tyler are offering Double Your Way to a Million for a discounted rate of £57 for the first 3 months. Once this has elapsed, there is little said. I can however make some very educated guesses as to what happens. On Barry Tyler’s own website, Double Your Way to a Million is being sold for £57 per month.

It seems reasonable to expect that this number will carry over in terms of signing up to Double Your Way to a Million through Streetwise Publications. Again, this isn’t mentioned on the Streetwise Publications sales page, but on Barry Tyler’s own website, he suggests that Double Your Way to a Million is a 10 month course so expect to pay quite a lot in the long term.

There is a full 30 day money back guarantee in place for the service should you find that Double Your Way to a Million isn’t for you. This is vendor backed, however Streetwise Publications are typically pretty good with refunds etc.

What is the Rate of Return?

The income potential of Double Your Way to a Million is right there. You can supposedly expect to make in excess of £1,000,000 by doubling your money on a relatively consistent basis. That is a hell of a claim to make. It is worth noting that Barry Tyler does say that you can also stop at any level at which you feel comfortable.

Conclusion on Double Your Way to a Million

The core idea behind Double Your Way to a Million is a simple one and Barry Tyler acknowledges this in the sales material. Doubling your money is seen as a hypothetically very straight forward process, and it is also theoretically scalable. Or is it? One of the big problems that I have with Double Your Way to a Million is how it portrays the process. Could I take £100 and turn it into £200 overnight?

Absolutely not. Not with any kind of guarantee. Could I do it by buying and selling wholesale products on eBay? Probably. But how long would this take?

It probably goes without saying that Barry Tyler’s ideas are sometimes a little more highbrow than simply buying and selling on eBay, but it isn’t a million miles away either. Sometimes it is just… Bigger.

One of the big objections that I have with Double Your Way to a Million is how reasonable it makes everything sound. I want to be upfront and say that I do believe that Double Your Way to a Million can work. It is however based on you having to work incredibly hard and make sacrifices for your success. This might sound familiar as it is pretty much the same advice that most millionaires would offer. Work hard and be prepared to make sacrifices.

This then raises the question of why you would want to consider Double Your Way to a Million when fundamentally, you are doing the same thing. The answer here is predominantly that the business ideas that Barry Tyler provides can serve as something of a guide. Is this worth £57 per month to you?

This depends. I know many people with their own businesses, and by and large, they have built them by employing creative thinking and natural acumen to spot opportunities that naturally exist in their market. If you cannot do this independently, I think that you will probably struggle even with help.

Honestly, this is a bit of a weird product in my book. It offers something that almost nothing else on the market provides. If it were half the price, I might be inclined to recommend this solely on the grounds that sometimes, just one bit of inspiration a month might be worth £30. £57 however, especially when you are getting started is a pretty big ask.

If you are genuinely keen to see what Double Your Way to a Million can do for you, then the 3 months for £57 isn’t bad I suppose. After this, I am not so sold on the value for money. Honestly, and I know that this is a cop out point that I’ve used before now. If Double Your Way to a Million is for you, you will probably know from reading up to this point.

If you are still unsure, I don’t think that it will be a particularly good fit.

Barry Tyler has simply stolen an old idea from Stuart Goldsmith and expanded upon it. The cheek of charging £57 per month for 3 months for this nonsense must be applauded.

Just got the email about this again today, January 2024. Stuart Goldsmith now contributes directly to the “training” and just looks like another Streetwise bitch. I understand the man behind Streetwise is looking to retire so they’re frantically recycling their massively oversold crud to squeeze a few more coppers out of them before he heads off to a country with no extradition treaty.

I hearby challenge anyone to show me one Streetwise product that even came close to providing what they claimed in the sales pitch.
