E-Zine Academy Review

E-Zine Academy is a training program developed by Martin Avis on how to create and profit from newsletters.

What does the product offer?

E-Zine Academy is supplied as 237 page manual that comes complete with additional reports and bonus material. Martin Avis says that it is the culmination of everything that he has learned about writing, researching and publishing. The bonus content comes in the form of a “quick start” guide to getting your first subscriber, a step-by-step guide and finally an 84 minute video of a seminar presented by Martin Avis.

How does the product work?

As mentioned above the training program is allegedly everything Martin Avis knows on writing E-Zines. He claims that E-Zine Academy will teach you “how to write, what to write, who to write to, and how to attract subscribers to send it to.” The fundamental idea behind E-Zine Academy is that once you have an established subscriber base you can begin to generate revenue by selling them products through your E-Zine. In fact Martin Avis claims to be in the top ten lists of affiliates through selling products.

What is the initial investment?

E-Zine Academy retails for $147 which Martin Avis claims is a discounted rate as he charged $800 back in 2011 for the same product although that was a physical home study course.

What is the rate of return?

Although E-Zine Academy is first and foremost a training course Martin Avis frequently discusses how his own income allowed him to make a career from publishing his E-Zine. This is rather contradictory next to his claim that nobody can say how much you can expect to make.

Conclusion

E-Zine Academy has some sound principles behind it. Creating a subscriber base you can market to is a shrewd move although I’m not too convinced that it is as easy to get to the point where it is a viable income as Martin Avis claims. He states that you can expect a profitable newsletter within 3 months, this seems like a push to me and I would question the extent of your profits.
