FB List Monster Review

FB List Monster is a new WordPress plugin from WebBizExecutive that allows users to utilise Facebook as a method of gaining user details for building a list.

What does the product offer?

There is plenty of information presented about FB List Monster that the sales page, much of which makes it sound like something fantastic and must have with plenty of references to building your list with “real” email addresses that people use every single day.

FB List Monster is claimed to be easy to install and newbie friendly. Furthermore, you can get started with everything in less than 10 minutes.

It also fully integrates with MailPoet (another WordPress plugin that allows you to manage email lists) so that as FB List Monster gets new contact details you are automatically notified. As well as email lists, FB List Monster also allows you to add people to your Facebook advertising list so you can target leads across multiple platforms.

Finally, FB List Monster comes with resell rights as well which presents a rather interesting opportunity in its own rights.

How does the product work?

It is a rather pleasant surprise to see that the (unnamed) creator of FB List Monster does go into some detail about how everything works.

The main idea behind the product is that you offer something to Facebook users for free, for example a training course or a “report”. In order to download this, they have to connect their Facebook account to FB List Monster.

The software then adds them to your mailing list with “their best email address”. From here you now have a lead that is interested in the niche that you operate in and so you can use this to market relevant products.

What is the initial investment?

At the time of writing FB List Monster is being sold for a one time cost of just $3.49.

This represents a somewhat significant discount on the claimed usual value of $17. There is also a 30 day money back guarantee in place should you find that FB List Monster isn’t for you.

What is the rate of return?

There isn’t really any advertised rate of return for FB List Monster and realistically, this is a difficult thing to judge. As it is, this is more of a tool than a direct income opportunity and so I would expect results to be quantitative rather than qualitative.

Conclusion

Frankly there is a lot to like about FB List Monster and it is hard to overlook that a big part of this is  the price. At just under $3.50 there isn’t much that a marketer could conceivably buy that is likely to have a more positive outcome on their business.

Don’t get me wrong, FB List Monster isn’t without fault and as much as it does what it does well, you still have to be getting traffic to your WordPress site in order to benefit from using it.

If however you do have that traffic and are looking for a way to integrate social media with your normal marketing methods you could do much worse for a hell of a lot more money.
