Footy Accumulators Review

Footy Accumulators is a sports betting tipster service that very much does what it says on the tin, that is to say that it provides football accumulators to users.

What does the product offer?

In terms of what is on offer, I have to say that Footy Accumulators is probably one of the most straightforward tipping websites that I have ever looked at. It is also one of the few websites that I have looked at that when researching it, has been so critically panned. This is something that I found rather interesting as I started to look at Footy Accumulators in detail.

As a service, Footy Accumulators is more of a website than an exclusive tipster service and this is something that is important to keep in mind when looking at it (although I will get to the tips shortly).

This website is updated daily and as well as the tips offers a number of services for users. These range from things like previews on upcoming bets (all neatly compiled in a blog like format) to bookmaker offers and even (rather oddly) the occasional bit of NFL betting advice.

Turning to the tips themselves, as you can probably tell from the name, Footy Accumulators is mostly concerned with accumulators.

Whilst these aren’t the only offering that the Footy Accumulators team make, they are definitely the meat and veg of the website.

The accumulators can vary massively in size with some offering simple trebles whilst some accumulators are 6 fold and more. Footy Accumulators also tip in a variety of markets including various goal markets (such as anytime goal scorers, over 2.5 goals etc.) and basic win bets.

As well a viewing their top tips, Footy Accumulators also post their tips by league. This covers all of the top European leagues, British football down to League Two, as well as domestic and European cups.

These bets are much more dynamic than the aforementioned selections however as there is seemingly more focus on obtaining the best possible value.

It is around here that the downsides of Footy Accumulators have to be mentioned. These are mainly that whilst the Footy Accumulators tem say that they do keep full records of prior bets, they aren’t available on the website.

This lack of proofing means that there is no way of gauging how much profit and loss you can expect to make. It also makes it rather difficult to get an overciew of how the service will perform.

How does the product work?

The team behind Footy Accumulators go out of their way to say that they are not expert football tipsters. They also say that their primary function is to engage with their followers.

All of this might sound like something of a cop out, and there are many who think that this is the case. Whilst I will admit that I would have liked to have seen some more information on the selection process, it is also noteworthy that Footy Accumulators has been active since 2010.

To build on what I have already mentioned, I also feel that it is worthwhile saying that most of the selections that have been issued through Footy Accumulators are pretty common sense examples. For example, an accumulator for tonight looks like this:

Arsenal – Basel v Arsenal

Barcelona – Barcelona v Monchengladbach

Besiktas – Dynamo Kiev v Besiktas

Manchester City – Manchester City v Celtic

PSG – PSG v Ludogorets

Only two of these immediately jump out and suggest that there may be an upset and even then, Basel v Arsenal seems like a stretch.

What is the initial investment?

Given everything that is on offer, it would seem reasonable for the Footy Accumulators team to charge at least some small fee for Footy Accumulators. Instead, this is an entirely free service.

It is worth noting however that there are a substantial number of affiliate links on the Footy Accumulators website that take you to different bookmaker offers. This is the main source of revenue for the site.

What is the rate of return?

I wouldn’t like to guess how often the bets for Footy Accumulators come in and honestly, I don’t think that they are obscure enough to get massive odds that often.

Whilst it is disappointing that there is no real information available in this regard, it is also worth keeping in mind that there is no cost in trying Footy Accumulators.

Conclusion

The biggest thing that I have seen in terms of criticism for Footy Accumulators is the number of links that the team have to affiliate products. Frankly, I don’t see this as being a problem at all.

The team have to make a living and I certainly wouldn’t begrudge anybody this. We all have our own ways of making money online and if Footy Accumulators have found a way to do it which isn’t really intrusive, then I don’t see it as a problem.

In terms of Footy Accumulators, I think that it is probably for the best that it is free. In my opinion, in its current state, Footy Accumulators isn’t really worth any money. There is some potential here, but to ask the cost of a tipster service without any evidence of its long term profit is too much.

But is there anything about Footy Accumulators that is of value? I think that potentially, yes, however I don’t see this being something that will suit any serious bettor. Instead, I can see Footy Accumulators being something for your Weekend bettor.

For Jack the Lad who has a spare tenner and fancies turning it into beer money for the weekend. There is of course nothing wrong with this approach and I think that there is a large number of casual gamblers who will be more than happy with Footy Accumulators.
