Howard Davis-Shaw’s Eye-Catchers Review

Howard Davis-Shaw’s Eye-Catchers is a new horse racing tipster service from Betfan and Howard Davis-Shaw that claims to be able to produce a strong income for subscribers.

What does the product offer?

Howard Davis-Shaw’s Eye-Catchers is a brand new and rather straight forward tipster service provided by Betfan and their long time collaborator, Howard Davis-Shaw (this isn’t the first service that he has operated through them). Whilst Betfan present Howard Davis-Shaw’s Eye-Catchers as being something rather revolutionary (allegedly showing the “secret racehorses” that “mean business”, the reality is that it is a relatively straight forward affair.

Selections are provided to subscribers on a near daily basis and they favour horses which have longer odds.

The betting types are a combination of single, each way and reverse forecast (which is a bet type that doesn’t come up very often) whilst the staking plan is surprisingly low key for a Betfan product with Howard Davis-Shaw’s Eye-Catchers generally staking no more than 2 points.

In spite of the high odds approach that Howard Davis-Shaw’s Eye-Catchers uses, the strike rate is currently standing at a very respectable 46.43%.

How does the product work?

Howard Davis-Shaw is pleasantly open about what his approach to Howard Davis-Shaw’s Eye-Catchers selections involve. He says that he starts out by looking at form ratings(which isn’t where the selection process stands out).

Once this is done, he then says that he goes back and watches the race to see whether or not the horse in question lost because of a determinable factor (for example, was the going wrong, was the race too long etc.). Once he has done this he assesses whether or not this will affect the next race.

This allegedly allows Howard Davis-Shaw’s Eye-Catchers to pick out much more accurate results than bookies.

What is the initial investment?

Betfan are selling Howard Davis-Shaw’s Eye-Catchers on a monthly and quarterly subscription (actually 28 days and 90 days). These are selling for £24 and £48 respectively.

As is typical for a Betfan product, Howard Davis-Shaw’s Eye-Catchers doesn’t really come with any real money back guarantee although they do say that they will review requests.

What is the rate of return?

I cannot stress enough that it is early days for Howard Davis-Shaw’s Eye-Catchers at the moment (the service has only been live since the end of November) but at the time of writing the points profit stands at 53.15.

Whilst this doesn’t sound amazing in its own rights, the actual return on investment is currently 118.09% which is an outstanding figure.

Conclusion

There is a lot to like about Howard Davis-Shaw’s Eye-Catchers.

The price is right, Howard Davis-Shaw seems to have found a pretty genuine method of selection and the results are fantastic.

The key to making this a success going forward is going to be consistency and this is one area in which Betfan is often rather shaky.

With that in mind I would put Howard Davis-Shaw’s Eye-Catchers on a definite watch list to see if the results can continue (even at half of what it is it would be impressive) or if you are more inclined to gamble, it may even be worth getting your foot in the door now.
