Nigel Seeley Betting Club is the first tipster service to be launched by Betfan’s Tipster TV service. It is a sports betting tipster service looking at various sports and operated by the eponymous Nigel Seeley.
What does the product offer?
It has been a while since Betfan first launched their Tipster TV premise and they have now added to the ranks their first new tipster service. Nigel Seeley Betting Club is a sports betting service that looks at a number of different sports and betting types. So far Nigel Seeley Betting Club has looked at tennis, darts, rugby, golf and football. Despite this variety Tipster TV say that the focus for Nigel Seeley Betting Club is on football betting looking at markets like correct score, anytime scorer as well as the more typical options. Nigel Seeley has also said that he will be looking at the lower leagues as this is where the best value is. In terms of the numbers, you can expect bets from Nigel Seeley Betting Club most days, each of which come with tailored staking with Nigel Seeley eschewing the usual Betfan staking plan. In terms of a strike rate, at the time of writing this stands at 45% however it is early days still.
How does the product work?
At the center of Nigel Seeley Betting Club is the man himself. Nigel Seeley has been writing for the Sun newspaper as a betting columnist for some time and claims to have contacts in a number of different sports (again, there is however a focus on the lower leagues of football). For once with a tipster service this seems very plausible and there is little reason to doubt Nigel Seeley’s claims.
What is the initial investment?
Nigel Seeley Betting Club is being sold on a 28 day “monthly” membership as well as a 90 day “quarterly” membership. These sell for £47 and £94 respectively. As a Betfan product Nigel Seeley Betting Club is subject to their usual lack of money back guarantee which states that subscriptions are generally none refundable. They do however say that they will review any requests for a refund.
What is the rate of return?
So far Nigel Seeley Betting Club has been operational for a little over a week and in this time the service has made an overall profit of 12.52 points. Whilst this doesn’t sound hugely impressive in its own rights, the maximum stake has been just 3 points.
Conclusion
It is very early days for Nigel Seeley Betting Club and as such I will reserve some judgment but from what I have seen so far, Betfan may be on to a winner. One of the key aspects of this undoubtedly comes from a big name betting expert and also the fact that the risk seems to be better managed than some of Betfan’s other services. Personally, I feel that Nigel Seeley Betting Club may be a touch expensive if it carries on its current vein but to a degree this is to be expected. Would I jump into Nigel Seeley Betting Club right now? Probably not. It has only been a week and this doesn’t look like a service that is going anywhere any time soon, however I would definitely keep an eye on it.
