Racing Expert Review

Racing Expert is a new horse racing tipster service from Steve G that claims to be able to make rather substantial profits, even if you are new to horse racing.

What does the product offer?

Racing Expert is about as generic as a tipster service can get in many respects. It is a near daily horse racing tipster service with a focus on value. Steve G will usually issue between 2 and 4 selections to Racing Expert subscribers with bets made up of a combination of win and each way. The whole thing is sold as being simple and perfect for those with no real experience of horse racing experience.

There is a full support team in place to help with Racing Expert however it is worth noting that there are some bits of information that I would consider to be key which are missing.

Chief amongst these are a strike rate with no claim actually made outside of Steve G pointing out that Racing Expert supposedly hasn’t had a losing month.

How does the product work?

Surprisingly, there is a fair amount of information on how Steve G supposedly identifies his selections before sending them out to Racing Expert customers. The process supposedly begins with him, looking at a given days races.

This allows Steve G to see how the different horses run etc., even going as far as to suggest he looks over replays to see things that the bookies may have missed. The reality is however that whilst all of this may sound impressive to those who aren’t familiar with horse racing, there isn’t really any real insight into how selections for Racing Expert are made.

What is the initial investment?

At the time of writing there are two options available to you if you want to sign up for Racing Expert. The first of these is a monthly subscription plan which will cost you £14.95 per month. The second option is to sign up for a full year of selections at a cost of £67.

Both options that Steve G offers come with a full 60 day money back guarantee should you find that you aren’t happy with the product.

What is the rate of return?

I find it interesting that given how long Steve G suggests that he has been betting for, Racing Expert only provides proofing for the last 4 months. Over this period, the service has allegedly made 137 points of profit.

Conclusion

On the surface of things, Racing Expert looks like a solid service. There is seemingly a lot to like however I am not sold on this service.

The fact for me however is that there simply aren’t that many wins to be had, something that a look at the proofing suggests that since Racing Expert “went live” would back up. Furthermore, the average odds have dropped substantially. This could be nothing, however it could equally be indicative of results that have been back testing or worse, simply picking out the odd winning horse historically.

Either way, it doesn’t paint a full picture. For my money, Racing Expert is interesting in so much as it is definitely lacking any definite direction which is enough to convince me that it is a no go.
