Red Hot Confidential Review – Bet Viral

Red Hot Confidential is a new to market horse racing tipster service that is operated by the Bet Viral stable of tipsters. The service is rather unique as far as tipster services go.

Introduction to Red Hot Confidential

Rightly or wrongly, I tend to compartmentalise tipster services quite a lot. They’re generally all just the same basic shape. But that is a little unfair really, because there can be a lot of subtlety and nuance from one to another. Sometimes though, there are things that are just… well, they’re a bit incomparable to the rest of the market. They do things in such a way that you can’t really pigeonhole them into that idea of what a “typical tipster service” looks like, and that can be really exciting.

This all brings me to today’s review subject, Red Hot Confidential. It really is one of those “not typical tipster services”. Something that Bet Viral really go out of their way to highlight. Which leads to some… well, it leads to some interesting stuff. The fact is that this has the potential to be one of the most engaging and unique tipster services that will come out this year. And I’m saying that in February. There is however an issue with this. Because there is also the possibility that you’re paying for a whole lot of nothing.

Now, I can already see Bet Viral disagreeing with that statement. And rightly so. This is their service after all. But there is a lot that is missing from Red Hot Confidential. In part, that is simply down to how the service is run and what it is. As such, it isn’t entirely unforgiveable. But it is also rather hard to ignore that it is missing too. And honestly, they are things that would be essential with any other tipster service. With all of this in mind, you can probably already guess that this is going to be an interesting review, so let’s get into it.

What Does Red Hot Confidential Offer?

The first thing that I want to talk about with Red Hot Confidential is defining what exactly it is. For my money, I would consider this to be a tipster service. At the end of the day, what Bet Viral are doing is sending out details of horses that they perceive to be worth betting on. In my mind, that is a tip. But the waters are also a bit muddied, because at the same time, I acknowledge that it isn’t that black and white.

Throughout this review, I will continue to call Red Hot Confidential a tipster service. But I do think that it’s probably fair to acknowledge from the get go that this is arguably better defined as a “betting advisory service”. I know that probably sounds like I’m splitting hairs, but one of the key points of Red Hot Confidential is that you don’t have to take their advice on everything. Something that becomes very important in assessing the overall worth.

So, with that out of the way, let’s talk about how this is set up. Because as you might have gathered already, Red Hot Confidential is a bit unconventional. And I think that you see this in a lot of what Bet Viral are doing here as well. Whether or not that lack of convention is something that is a positive or not will ultimately depend on your outlook though.

In my mind, the main difference lies in what you are getting. We all know how it goes with most tipster services. You get an email that looks something like this:

Todays tips

1/4/22 – 15:00 Chepstow – Thishorseisguaranteedtowin
1/4/22 – 18.15 Wolverhampton – Mightbeworthapunt

And that will be about it. If you’re lucky, you might get some advice on what sort of odds the tipster was able to get when he started research. How useful that is to you can vary wildly, but it isn’t something I tend to pay attention to. But I’m going off topic a bit. Because where I was going with this is that Red Hot Confidential goes way above and beyond all of this.

When the betting advice is sent out, you get the details of the race, the time, the horse, you also get insight on how the horse has been performing. Now, I’ll come to what all of this means and how it ties Red Hot Confidential together a little later, but each piece of advice has a sentence. Maybe a short paragraph that might detail things like if a horse has had a knock, if it has been doing particularly well, any weaknesses that it has shown (and odds too).

The information will typically cover a lot of the cards for a given day which can mean a lot of knock on effects. Especially in terms of the volume of bets that you may potentially be placing. Something that I say because Red Hot Confidential gives you full freedom of choice. Bet Viral aren’t telling you to do x, y, and z. A lot of this is ultimately on you to make a decision.

This means things like which of the horses you actually back and importantly, how you choose to back them, aren’t set in stone. You can use some of the odds advice for guidance (for example, a 14/1 outsider is probably better as an each way punt rather than backing it to win), but Bet Viral aren’t telling you what to do with Red Hot Confidential.

Fortunately, the format that the service takes gives you a decent amount of time to get on top of all of this. One of the things that Bet Viral do with their services that I appreciate is sending the information out using Telegram. For those of you who may not be familiar, it is a messaging app that sells itself as being the fastest in the world. This means that if you’re following Red Hot Confidential, it’s difficult to miss notifications, and importantly, act ASAP on the information.

This is something that I think you will want to do. Because of how Red Hot Confidential supposedly works, I would expect to see prices moving quite quickly. Building on this, it also opens the door to take advantage of an odds comparison site. Something that I think I would recommend here precisely for that reason.

How Does Red Hot Confidential Work?

How does Red Hot Confidential work? I’m not quite sure how to answer this question. Mostly because there is just so much variation to everything. I think however that the best starting point is the claim that Bet Viral use to really sell the service. That is the fact that all of the information that they provide through it is coming directly from stables. Something that I can really believe when you look at the information that is provided.

Being more specific than this, Bet Viral say “This a daily information sheet that comes from inside the top yards of Englands biggest NH and flat stablesand that you are getting “Direct info from the inside contacts of Lambourn and newmarket”. All of this isn’t entirely unique to Red Hot Confidential, but it is information that can realistically help you to beat the bookies in the long term.

Of course, coming back to that point of how Red Hot Confidential works, well, there really isn’t a definitive answer. The fact is that all of this is sold as information. It isn’t technically advice. So, what you choose to do with it really is up to you. Putting that onus on you as the punter has a twofold effect. Firstly, it does absolve Bet Viral of some of their responsibility (a point I will be picking up a little later). Secondly, I would personally recommend further research on the race cards.

You see, whilst I believe that the information provided is genuine, it is only a very narrow angle on a given race. It is all well and good the stable talking about how their new horse has been running well in the yard. And that can be valuable. But there are more than one horse in a race. For my money, I think that it is ultimately worth viewing Red Hot Confidential as a tool. It is a part of a bigger picture, if you are being smart about.

What is the Initial Investment?

I don’t think that you can look at any service that is based around genuine inside information and expect it to be cheap. Put simply, having people on the payroll costs money. With Red Hot Confidential though, I don’t feel like Bet Viral are asking a cost that is prohibitive. In fact, there is arguably quite a lot of value at the higher costs.

So, let’s explore the options. Firstly, there is a monthly subscription. This is £36 per month with your first month billed at £18 (actually every 28 days meaning 13 payments per year). Next, there is a quarterly option available which is priced at £75 every 3 months with your first period costing just £37.50. Finally, there is a 6 months subscription which is priced at £85 every 6 months.

It is worth noting that all options of Red Hot Confidential don’t come with any sort of money back guarantee in place. As such, whilst that 6 month option does represent the best value, it also requires considerable commitment.

What is the Rate of Return?

When it comes to talking about how much you can expect to earn from Red Hot Confidential, there are no real claims made. This is in no small part down to that autonomy that Bet Viral push as a big part of the service. This is doubled down on to the extent where they say that they do not provide any proofing as they are “just passing on stable information and not advising Horses”.

Realistically, I can see how there is definitely some potential for profit with Red Hot Confidential. But if I’m really honest, I think that the best way of looking at this is like a tool. It is not a direct money making product. As such, whilst I think that it can help you improve your profits in the long term, it’s harder to say that you’re going to make x amount of points per year.

Conclusion for Red Hot Confidential

It can be incredibly difficult looking at something like Red Hot Confidential and knowing what to make of it. Not least of which is because there isn’t really a quantifiable method of measuring success here. Which ultimately begs two different questions. Firstly, are you going to get your moneys worth out of this? Secondly, and definitely tangentially related, is the information actually any good?

First things first, let’s address whether or not the information is any good. I think it’s probably fair to say that it has some merit. I genuinely believe that if you are following Red Hot Confidential, you will be more informed than if you weren’t. So, is the information any good? Probably. However, that comes with that huge caveat that I was talking about earlier. That you should be using this as a part of something bigger.

Is it worth the money? This is a harder thing to be conclusive on. Because it all depends on what you are willing to put into it, and this can be very expensive. Personally, I think that if you’re going to just follow Red Hot Confidential blindly and treat it as a tipster service, then it isn’t worth what is being asked. There are better options available that will specifically do what you want this to do.

If on the other hand this is a string to your bow, then I think it starts to present much better value for money. I know I’ve said this several times but it really bears repeating, what Bet Viral are putting out here is a tool. If you take betting seriously and are looking to try and increase your edge over the bookies, then Red Hot Confidential will do that.

It is also worth adding that what it offers is something that can be very difficult to come by. The insight that Bet Viral gain access to isn’t going to be available to most people. Will it be impossible to find? I’m sceptical. The fact is that there are a lot of loose lips in the horse racing industry, and the same people are often a source for multiple tipsters etc. But that doesn’t dilute what Red Hot Confidential does.

For me, where this really stands out over a simple tipster service that uses inside information is in how you receive the insight. This isn’t telling you to back a horse cos Joe down the stable fancies it. What you are getting is the message from Joe wherein he says that a horse is running well or reaching its potential. What you do with that is up to you.

And that ties me into my final thoughts on this. Whether or not it is of value will be a very personal choice. But I can very confidently say that it isn’t going to be for everybody. If everything you’ve read sounds appealing, this is worth getting on the 6 month subscription. Without that, even the most ardent supporter of what Bet Viral are doing might struggle to justify costs. All of which, ultimately, is simply more considerations to make.
