The Email Secret Review – Streetwise Publications

The Email Secret is a new to market product from John Harrison of Streetwise Publications. The claim here is that you can make a life changing sum of money, simply by sending out emails.

Introduction to The Email Secret

Whilst I am generally focused on betting as a way of making a second income (for a number of reasons), that doesn’t mean I close the door on other windows of opportunity. And sometimes, something comes along that is too good to not pay attention to. You see, one of the things that interests me about this line of work, as much as the actual betting itself, is the marketing. I love how heavily some of the internet marketers out there lean into their sales pitches and the promises that they make.

Nowhere is this better displayed than… Well, pretty much anything from Streetwise Publications, if I’m honest.

Can You Click Send?

“If You Can, I’ll Show You Exactly How To Make A Life-Changing £8,000+ A Month Despatching Simple Emails From Home…

No Office…No Staff…Work Any Hours That Suit!”

Reads the headlines for the service. That is one hell of a claim to make. And of course you can hit send. Let’s be honest, the fact that you’ve (probably) clicked through a marketing email from John Harrison to get to the website tells you that. And who wouldn’t want to make £8,000 per month?! Well, all you have to do is buy The Email Secret to get there.

It sounds too good to be true doesn’t it? And the genuine truth of the matter is that typically speaking, that is because it is. Now, don’t get me wrong, as I will explore over the course of this article, all of the claims that John Harrison makes, I believe (and to some degree know) to be true. However, there is a hell of a lot that is skipped over with things like The Email Secret, and that is what I want to look at. There is also a marketing angle Streetwise Publications take that is of… Questionable taste, in my opinion. So, let’s get straight into this.

What Does The Email Secret Offer?

As is always the case when it comes to Streetwise Publications, there is really quite a lot on offer with The Email Secret. So much so that it almost makes it difficult to know where to really start here. Ultimately, I think what you are getting is best described as a “mixed multimedia training package”. A series of flowery sounding words that make it sound much more impressive than it is. But when in Rome…

At the core of The Email Secret, I think it is probably fair to talk about “The Email Secret – How To Make A Six-Figure Income Sending Simple Emails From Home” (which I will be referring to exclusively as The Email Secret) the book. Or dossier, as John Harrison calls it… This is the core of the process behind the service, and it is within this document that everything is laid out for you.

As a piece of content it is a very mixed affair. Here’s the thing. John Harrison has this kind of product down to a fine art at this point. And fundamentally speaking, he writes pretty well. However, there is a hell of a lot of superfluous waffle with his books and content that I find to be a little questionable. Personally, I have always been of the opinion that they don’t add much but to the word count. Something I believe is done to increase the perceived value of a product (remember, bigger isn’t always better).

By Streetwise Publications standards though, you are actually dealing with quite a trim tome, which is welcome. Much of the information is relatively direct and to the point, and by and large, I think that it is well presented. Everything is laid out in a relatively straight forward fashion and as such, you shouldn’t have too much difficult following what you are doing.

With that said, I do think that much of this content could be cut and the core experience would be the same. The fact is that the approach that John Harrison is selling here is a very simple one. And whilst there is definitely merit to the methods shown, much of it is over complicated in my opinion.

Now, I am always cautious about giving things away, but let’s talk about some of the statements that John Harrison makes in the sales material for The Email Secret. “Where to find a tonne of people who will happily pay you to promote their products”. I can probably sum all of that up in just a few words if I wanted. And this applies to so much here. So I think it is quite important to keep your expectations tempered.

As well as the core offering, The Email Secret comes with a host of training videos too. Once again, these sound flowery and great. But in my opinion, they’re not. A lot of the focus here is on building a website and how easy it is. And to be fair to John Harrison, using the tools he recommends, it really is. This is all sold off the back of how you can make a website in as little as 30 minutes and they’ll share with you the “simple drag and drop tool our techy guy uses to throw up sales pages”.

On top of this, The Email Secret comes with a few “bonuses” (would it really be a product from Streetwise Publications if these weren’t included?!). The first one talks about how you can build your own portfolio of products which you can then sell yourself, as opposed to being paid to sell other people’s products.

Also included are a number of “email secret templates”. These allow you to very quickly and very easily put together a website using the aforementioned tool. This includes an email capturing page, a sales page template, “The Secret Profit Exploder Page”, and a profit delivery page.

One of the things that I do like is that John Harrison says that when you sign up to The Email Secret, you get access to “Andi”, their email guru. They are on hand to answer any technical questions you may have. This kind of support is welcome as there is little ignoring the fact that whilst the approach is ultimately very simple, it can also be difficult if you aren’t familiar with it.

How Does The Email Secret Work?

Ok, I don’t often give away much when somebody has a product behind a paywall. Irrespective of what I think of a product, I don’t think that it’s fair. I can offer an opinion on it, but giving away other people’s systems for free just doesn’t sit right with me. However, I am going to break that rule a little bit today. Because there is only one way to describe how The Email Secret works, and it is very difficult to skirt around the topic. And honestly, in discussing that topic, I don’t think that I really give too much away.

As anybody who has even vague knowledge of trying to make money online could probably tell you, The Email Secret is built around affiliate marketing. This is the process of selling somebody else’s products online in exchange for a commission. It is a method of making money that is about as old as it comes in terms of making money online.

In terms of the advice that John Harrison gives in The Email Secret, it is all pretty basic stuff. Something that I believe is, in no small part, down to the fact that affiliate marketing simply isn’t that difficult at a core level. With that said, I do think that you get some good insight into the wider experience and ways that you can help yourself to stand out and go one step beyond what others may be doing.

Ultimately, I think what is noteworthy about The Email Secret is that whilst it does contain a lot of information, this should ultimately be viewed as a tool. Whilst John Harrison spouts some attractive looking numbers (I’ll get to this), you will only get out of it as much as you are willing to put into it. Something that is incredibly pertinent. Fortunately, the support goes some way to alleviating that.

What is the Initial Investment?

Whenever it comes to a service from Streetwise Publications, you always know that there is going to be very substantial costs involved. They don’t tend to release products that could be seen as “cheap”. The Email Secret is no different. If you want to receive access to the package it is a one time cost of £97. Supposedly a saving of £200 on the “published price” of £297.

What is decent about this is the fact that The Email Secret comes with a full 90 day money back guarantee. This is supposedly unconditional and as such, you shouldn’t have any issues claiming your refund if you want it.

What is the Rate of Return?

There are two distinctive types of income potential that surround The Email Secret. There are those that John Harrison claims, and there are those that are actually feasible. First things first, I want to talk about the results that Streetwise Publications have published in the sales material. This includes claims of tens out thousands of pounds within weeks, £882,000 in just 12 days, and, as the full title of The Email Secret suggests (The Email Secret – How To make A Six -Figure Income Sending Simple Emails From Home), a six figure income.

The realities of affiliate marketing however is that whilst these kinds of numbers are theoretically possible, it is very difficult to actually get there. The reality is that most people simply don’t see that much return. There is a lot involved in establishing not just an email list that you can market to, but also actually has people who are engaged and want to purchase products.

Conclusion for The Email Secret

I’ll be very blunt here. One of the things that Streetwise Publications and John Harrison are incredibly good at is selling products that CAN work. They are based on very established principles of making money either from home, or in an online capacity. However, there is a lot to be said for the fact that, unfortunately, most people will struggle to make their approaches work.

The Email Secret is no different in my eyes. I am very well versed in affiliate marketing and what it can bring to the table. Make no mistake, there are people out there making an income through affiliate marketing. Some of them are actually really quite successful. But where most of them really make their real money is actually selling products on making money through affiliate marketing, rather than the affiliate marketing itself.

So, whilst the methods contained within The Email Secret can in fact help you to make a second income. And the actual offering is technically something that can help you to make money, there remains the biggest question. Is it all worth it? And the answer to that is a bit of a complicated one, because it very much depends on how willing you are to commit to things.

You see, even though John Harrison would probably disagree with me, most of the information on how to get started in affiliate marketing is freely available online. Both in terms of volume of content, and in terms of cost. Honestly, I would go as far as to say that if you are willing to put in the time and effort, it is not unfeasible that you could cover all of the topics that The Email Secret does without paying a penny.

What the advantage is, in my eyes, to following up with something like The Email Secret is the simple fact that everything is in one place. There is a lot to be said for paying a premium for convenience, and sometimes, it can just be easier to do so. But the real problem that I have here is that there is a very clear limit on how much more you will pay for convenience.

Let’s be real. If you want to get McDonald’s delivered through your chosen food delivery app, it costs more. The menu is a bit more, there is a service charge that you wouldn’t normally pay, and there is also a delivery fee. As such, you might pay £3 or £4 more than you might at the Drive Thru. Now, if you’re working late at the office, and there’s a lot of you. That represents good value.

But if you’re over the road from a McDonald’s and you just want a Coke, it very clearly isn’t. Now imagine that you’re having to pay £15 – £20 more to get your order. Is there still really any value in it?

And that is the problem that I have with The Email Secret really. Putting aside my thoughts on the merits of affiliate marketing for a moment (it can be incredibly difficult and the number of people who make a decent income off it are the outliers), I think that Streetwise Publications are asking too much for what they are selling here.

This isn’t some guaranteed method of making money here. A good betting system, for example, will say to you, if you carry out our instructions then you will make £10 per day. That can be locked in and demonstrated. But with affiliate marketing you can do everything right and achieve nothing. Which begs the question of why you’d pay almost £100 for a pretty basic guide to something that has so few guarantees.

The fact is that Streetwise Publications and John Harrison are very good at selling things. And they definitely sell affiliate marketing as being this easy way to make a profit. It isn’t. It is definitely not as simple as “knowing how to press send” and watching money pour into your account. So, whilst the methods can work, I don’t really see them as a conducive use of your time. Unless you have an existing interest. And even if that is the case, it is just difficult to justify paying £97 for this package.
