The Racing Professionals Review

The Racing Professionals is an email based horse racing tipster service that profits by favouring extremely long odds on horses.

What does the product offer?

The Racing Professionals offer tips daily for horse racing across the UK and Ireland. Selections are sent out directly to subscribers via email where it is advised you bet as soon as possible as a big part of The Racing Professionals is taking advantage of a high Betfair Start Price (BSP). At the time of writing The Racing Professionals has achieved a strike rate for 2014 of just 8.6%.

How does the product work?

The Racing Professionals is all about exploiting longer odds. Whilst I shall explore this further later on, the highest bet for 2014 was a horse with a BSP of 607.45 (which happened to go on to win). This goes well beyond a usual outsider backing system and really takes it to the extreme. This explains the strike rate and also shows how this is a system that requires a lot of patience and a large betting bank.

What is the initial investment?

The Racing Professionals is only available for a single payment of £499 which provides you with an annual subscription. There is also no mention of any money back guarantee which given the costs involved is slightly concerning.

What is the rate of return?

The Racing Professionals advertise that The Racing Professionals has made 735 points of profit to date. This also includes the win mentioned above at odds of 607.45 points which is clearly a one off.

Conclusion

There are a lot of risks involved with The Racing Professionals, from the initial outlay to the odds that it uses. There are in fact a number of bets at over 100 points which almost inevitably lose. The profits whilst initially looking good is somewhat marred by the fact that if you take off the 607.5 point win, there is only a profit of 127.55 points which whilst profit, isn’t anywhere near as substantial as the claim.

If you are big into gambling rather than a systematic betting system then this might work for you, but personally I would look elsewhere.
