Thomo’s Tips is a sports betting tipster service rather paradoxically operated by a tipster known as Andy. The service focuses mostly on English football.
What does the product offer?
Thomo’s Tips is a football based tipster service that provides users with selections throughout the week. In fact, Andy boasts that Thomo’s Tips subscribers will receive tips for nearly every Premier League game throughout the season. As touched upon, Thomo’s Tips mostly bets on English Football across all leagues as well as having the occasional foray into European games, particularly when there are accumulators involved. The variety of bets Andy looks at with Thomo’s Tips appear to be a critical part of the service, mostly in terms of getting the best possible value.
The bets range from picking a straight winner to things like correct score, first scorer and a whole host of different accumulators ranging from doubles up to 8 folds. Andy recommends staking £100 per bet as he says this is needed to make Thomo’s Tips profitable and that the minimum that you could reasonably use is £10 per bet.
In terms of a strike rate, there is unfortunately nothing published however I wouldn’t expect too much in this regard.
How does the product work?
Andy says that he has been personally tipping for over 3 years with some “massive wins”. Unfortunately, this doesn’t really provide any insight into what the selection process for Thomo’s Tips actually involves.
It is worth noting however that if you look over the bets that Andy advises to Thomo’s Tips customers, there aren’t many that most football fans wouldn’t consider “safe” bets (for example a double on Chelsea to beat MK Dons and Everton to beat Carlisle United).
What is the initial investment?
One of the strongest points about Thomo’s Tips is the price with access starting at just £4.99 for a 29 day “monthly” membership. Alternatively you can get tips for the season for a one off cost of £30 or a lifetime membership for £75. It is also worth pointing out that unfortunately, there isn’t any money back guarantee in place for Thomo’s Tips.
What is the rate of return?
Since it went live, Thomo’s Tips has seen a n overall profit of around £1,300 since August 2015 however this is based on £100 per point stakes. This means a points profit of just 13 in around 6 months.
Conclusion
The biggest problem with Thomo’s Tips for me is that there just doesn’t seem to be that much money in it.
It is clear that if you want to even get close to the £1,000 in 3 months that the results show you will have to stake a hell of a lot. That having been said, Thomo’s Tips is just a fiver a month. What Thomo’s Tips really boils down to in my book is how much you actually enjoy football.
I can see this being well suited as a bet along kind of thing to keep you interested during the weekend but otherwise, I can’t see Thomo’s Tips really working for many people.
