Tipster Labs is a rather interesting website in which users can register to either purchase or sell their own tips in a community based environment.
What does the product offer?
It is difficult to narrow down one thing that Tipster Labs has to offer as there is genuinely so much to see. At the core is the main product which is based around Tipster Labs members buying and selling their tips amongst one another. This is done using credits which are a form of across site currency that you purchase with some tipsters charging more credits per selection than others.
For those who are looking to purchase their tips through Tipster Labs you can sort the tipsters b a number of different factors such as their profit, ROI and strike rate (as these differ from member to member).
The tips themselves are massively diverse which is in part down to the large international community that is in place. If you are a tipster and wish to sell your selections then there are a number of things to consider, for example when you start out you will only receive a small amount of the income from each credit (12 cents) going all the way up to 21 cents when you have earned more than 100,000 credits. Tipster Labs also host competitions which offer tipsters a chance to massively boost their bank.
Finally there is a free “school” that provides a massive number of different lessons on how Tipster Labs works as well as different betting strategies.
How does the product work?
The core idea behind Tipster Labs is that there are plenty of people out there who bet successfully who perhaps aren’t able to offer a full service. For example, there are a number of Hungarian and Romanian tipsters on Tipster Labs who have insight into a wide variety of sports that would otherwise be overlooked.
By breaking down the tips into smaller payments it means that as a bettor you can also trial a tipster without significant monthly outgoings.
What is the initial investment?
Whilst Tipster Labs is technically free to peruse, if you want to do anything then you need to buy the aforementioned credits. There are three packages that are available. These are a 40 credit package, a 125 credit package and a 400 credit package.
These are sold through Paypal and Skrill and cost 25, 50 and 100 Euros respectively. If you change your mind about your purchase at any point, there is a money back guarantee in place of sorts that says at any point you can cash out your credits at 25 cents each minus a 5% administration fee over 200 credits.
What is the rate of return?
This will vary massively from one user to another as each tipster on Tipster Labs has hugely different results. In the main however I feel that an ROI of between 5% and 15% seems to be a reasonable figure.
Conclusion
There are a lot of different tipster services online and I haven’t ever seen anything like Tipster Labs before which looking at the format seems odd as it is intuitive and a great idea. I’m not certain that it offers the best value for tipsters unless you are willing to stick with the service.
I do wish that there were some less expensive credit packages as they can work out very costly but otherwise, Tipster Labs is an interesting and different option to the norm.
