Trend Profits is a reasonably new horse racing tipster service that is provided through Winning Information Network. Selections themselves come from a tipster, Max.
What does the product offer?
Trend Profits is a horse racing tipster service that provides users with daily selections for horse racing up and down the UK. It is a relatively low volume affair with Max rarely advising more than 5 bets per day. All bets that Max advises to Trend Profits subscribers are win bets, seemingly to keep things as simple as possible. After all, Trend Profits is sold as being something of a safe option that is based around betting with trends on the horse racing markets. In terms of the numbers, Trend Profits is a pretty straight forward affair with the staking plan following a traditional level approach.
This means that unlike some Winning Information Network tipster services, all bets are just 1 point per bet. In terms of the strike rate, since it went live, Trend Profits has produced an average of 25.99%.
How does the product work?
Trend Profits is fundamentally based on the idea that if a horse has support on the markets, then it stands a fair chance in the race. Winning Information Network say that Max has a set of indicators that he uses in order to identify when this is taking place.
The sales material for Trend Profits then talks about how the horses highlighted by these indicators are then compared with Max’s own ratings. This produces a shortlist to which “adjustments” are made, before ultimately producing the days selections.
What is the initial investment?
There are three options if you choose to sign up for Trend Profits. The first of these is a monthly subscription at a cost of £39 (sold as a short term subscription). The second is a quarterly subscription (which is sold as being medium term) which sells for £78.
Finally there is a long term subscription which runs for 6 months and is priced at £125. As Winning Information Network are a part of the wider Betfan group, there is no real money back guarantee in place for any of these options.
What is the rate of return?
At the time of writing, Trend Profits has slumped in terms of overall profitability to just 9.32 points since it launched in April. What is particularly disappointing is that this is coming off the back of a huge losing streak that started at the start of June.
Conclusion
More than anything else there is one simple problem with Trend Profits. Namely that it simply isn’t profitable. Whilst the service may have started well, it is almost impossible to ignore the fact that it has lost 80 points of profit on a downward slump which would all but destroy the betting banks of anyone who got in late.
I simply can’t see Trend Profits being a service that I would recommend on these grounds and if anything, my advice would be to give it a pretty big miss.
