US Sports Capper is a relatively new sports betting tipster service from the wider Betting Gods tipster stable. As the name of the service suggests, everything here is based around betting on US sports.
Introduction to the US Sports Capper service
Despite the massive popularity over the pond, and arguably, the increasing popularity here in the UK, there aren’t many tipster services that aim to tackle US sports. This has always struck me as a bit of a missed niche.
With sports betting widely unavailable in the US, there is no native market to draw on, and with limited betting markets in the UK, you have a pretty solid chance of knowing more than the bookies. This is important, as knowing more than them, is a good way of spotting value in bets, which is in turn a tried and tested method of betting. Enter Betting Gods’s US Sports Capper service.
This focuses on NHL, NBA and MLB and supposedly pulls in regular winners at some very strong odds (4.0 and above). This makes US Sports Capper almost exactly what I have been dreaming of and a service that can potentially slide nicely into any wider betting portfolio in theory. Can it do so in practice? Let’s see.
What Does US Sports Capper Offer?
In terms of what you are actually getting from US Sports Capper, this is a straight forward Betting Gods affair and that is not necessarily a bad thing. Selections are issued directly to subscribers Monday through Sunday with a notification on days when there are no bets.
You will typically receive your bets between 8pm and 10pm which is a tad late for some, but is also the nature of betting on sports in the US. When selections have been identified for US Sports Capper, they are sent out via email, as well as being uploaded to a member’s area on the Betting Gods website and their proprietary phone app as well.
The bets provided through US Sports Capper are something of a wild affair and with covering 3 different types of massively different sports. The markets do however all appear to be available which is part of the battle sometimes with niche sports. One of the things that Betting Gods talk about is that this isn’t a service that simply focuses on single bets.
There is typically advice to double and treble up on bets in order to increase the potential returns. This means that you in a given day, you can occasionally expect to receive a moderate volume of selections, although rarely does US Sports Capper get much higher than 7 bets.
Naturally, any tipster service that likes to back value odds needs a robust staking plan and Betting Gods seem to have this in place. The majority of bets are advised to 2 point stakes, however depending on the apparent risk, this may go up to 3 points or drop to just 1 point. Given that the recommended betting bank for US Sports Capper is 150 points, this is more than robust enough to cover any losing periods.
Talking of which, from looking at US Sports Capper, I was genuinely expecting a pretty ropey looking strike rate. As it currently stands though, between September and the time of writing, a strike rate of 33.33% has been attained.
This is a very strong results and honestly, would be more akin from what I would expect of a service backing at shorter odds. As such, there is little denying that there is a lot of profit potential with US Sports Capper.
How Does US Sports Capper Work?
Rather unfortunately, we aren’t really given a whole lot of information in terms of how US Sports Capper actually works. What I mean by this, is the fact that Betting Gods don’t detail what the selection process entails. There are some small hints given, for example, a number of references are made to value.
As I have already talked about, I believe that it would be entirely feasible to have a better understanding than the bookies of these niche sports and leverage that, although that is somewhat speculative on my behalf.
The fact of the matter is this. Betting Gods as a company do not tend to take on tipster services which have little in the way of potential. They fully proof them (as is evidenced with the full proofing for US Sports Capper) and this more than gives you an idea of what to expect.
As such, whilst I always believe that as a consumer we could be given more information, it has been demonstrated quite adequately what you can expect from US Sports Capper.
What is the Initial Investment?
There are two different options if you want to sign up to US Sports Capper. The first of these is a quarterly subscription which is priced at £79 per quarter. Alternatively, Betting Gods offer an annual subscription which is priced at a one time cost of £249. Both of these options offer you a 10 day trial at a cost of just £1. As is the case with all services from Betting Gods, US Sports Capper does come with a full 30 day money back guarantee should you find you aren’t happy with the product.
What is the Rate of Return?
Since September of 2018, US Sports Capper has produced a profit of £2145.50 according to Betting Gods. This is based of £10 stakes which means that a better representation would stand at 214.55 points.
Given the short space of time (this has been generated in just under 4 months) this is a very strong result. Backing up the strength of these results, there is also the fact that the bank has grown by 143.7% whilst the average ROI is an incredible 67.78% ROI.
Conclusion on US Sports Capper by Betting Gods
It isn’t very often that I am genuinely impressed by a tipster service on so many fronts. I don’t wish to wax lyrical, but there is just so much to like about US Sports Capper.
First of all, I really want to highlight the types of bets that you will be placing. I can only think of perhaps 2 or 3 other tipster services in a good number of years that aim to capitalise on US sports. This means that US Sports Capper is perfectly placed for those who are looking to expand a portfolio.
Secondly, there is the costs and the value for money. I have always said that £30 per month is about average for a tipster service and Betting Gods have priced US Sports Capper slap bang on that spot.
Now I won’t lie, it is a bit frustrating having to pay out on a quarterly basis, but by the same token, you can also trial US Sports Capper for just £1. Betting Gods also offer their money back guarantee, so even if you do happen to buy in the service then decide that it isn’t for you, there is no real fiscal risk.
Finally, I want to talk about the profits.
Now it is early doors yet and that is something that definitely needs to be kept in mind. With just 4 months of proofing, there is still plenty of time for US Sports Capper to demonstrate that it is a service that lacks consistency. Honestly though, I don’t see this being the case. When it comes to niche betting, in my experience, with a decent tipster at the helm they can massively outperform bookies.
With all of this in mind, it is fair to say that I am rather taken with US Sports Capper. It is one of the better tipster services that I have looked at for a while, and I look at a lot of them.
Now that I’ve sand the praises of US Sports Capper, I do want to point out that I don’t think that this is a tipster service that will work for everybody. I am of the opinion that if you are looking for just 1 tipster service to follow, you should find a decent horse racing or football one.
For those who are looking for another angle that they can profitably bet on, Betting Gods have done a decent job of delivering.
