Video Chief Review

Video Chief is a new product from Joshua Zamora that claims to provide users with a complete and “done for you” video marketing experience.

What does the product offer?

Video Chief is one of those interesting seeming internet marketing products which appears to have a lot on offer at a glance. Once you start to pick it apart however, you may realise that there is actually some pretty serious restrictions (something that I will get to a little later on). With this in mind, let’s start to take a look at a breakdown of what Video Chief actually is.

At its highest level, Video Chief is a series of videos that you can utilise for video marketing purposes with the main idea being that you then sell those videos on to your customers. With this kind of business model, you need a lot o niches and Video Chief doesn’t disappoint here in a lot of respects with 150 different videos made available to platinum members. Each of these is for a different niche and sells the relevant service.

In terms of these videos, as mentioned Joshua Zamora has through of a significant number of businesses and these include niches as varied as a tax attorney to animal training to an auto mechanic. The videos that Joshua Zamora provides for Video Chief are all rather straight forward and simply feature an actor standing in front of a white background talking about the service. All of these videos are shot in HD and are fully editable if you want to make changes them.

As well as the videos themselves, Joshua Zamora has also included both the audio for the videos as well as scripts which are transcripts of what is said. This is so that if you don’t like the videos that Video Chief comes with, you have the option of putting the audio over your own video. The scripts are there for a similar reason, but pertaining to recording.

On top of the core video products, Video Chief includes a number of different training courses which you can supposedly sell on. These are all presented in the same fashion as the marketing videos and look at topics like business planning and customer service. Finally, Video Chief ships with a number of different bonuses. These loosely tie into the main business idea behind Video Chief, however they don’t necessarily

How does the product work?

The main idea behind Video Chief is one that I have looked at several times before now and an increasing number of internet marketers seem to be selling. Essentially, when you buy the videos that Video Chief provides, you are being sold the conceptual business that you can then sell on the marketing videos to other companies for a lot of money.

To assist you with this, Joshua Zamora has included a number of features in Video Chief including training on how to find clients as well as copies of the contracts that he claims to use when dealing with given the claimed income for this side of the business, it makes using Video Chief seem like a real no brainer. Unfortunately, in my experiences, this kind of product rarely works out as advertised.

What is the initial investment?

There are 3 different subscriptions for those who want to sign up for Video Chief however I feel that it is important to point out that if you want to use all of the features, you will need to sign for the Agency Package. This is priced at $42.33 and is on a dime sale (which means that this cost does go up as more copies are sold).

Alternatively, you can sign up for the Pro package which diminishes the number of done for  you videos and doesn’t include any training that you can  then resell. This package sells for $37. Finally, there is the personal package which comes with just 50 of the videos for you to download  and costs $34.

It is worth noting that Joshua Zamora does offer a 30 day money back guarantee for Video Chief. Because the product is sold through JVZoo however, you will have to claim this back directly through the vendor.

What is the rate of return?

The rate of return for something like Video Chief is ultimately going to be variable. The fact is that Joshua Zamora is leaving you to sell a product and wat you choose to value this product at is up to you. Within the sales material however, Joshua Zamora does say that he sells the same videos that he offers through Video Chief for up to $1,000 per video. I am not convinced at all however that you can make this kind of money through Video Chief however there is no evidence to back this claim up.

Conclusion

Products in the same vein as Video Chief aren’t anything new and unfortunately, I have seen better examples than this for similar money, if not less. There are a few problems with the kind of business model that Joshua Zamora suggests Video Chief will enable you to build and that is that there will more likely than not be very limited interest.

There are, generally speaking, three kinds of companies. Those that don’t really need a web presence, those who only need a basic web presence and those who have a strong web presence.

This presents a bit of a problem with things like Video Chief as the only people that would likely need a marketing video on their home page will already have one, or they will require something more personalised than Video Chief offers. This brings me onto the other problem which has more to do with this product specifically.

Those companies that wish to have a video so that their business is ranked on a video search will find themselves penalised as you would be selling the same video to different companies. Factor in that it wouldn’t just be you selling those videos and you can see where your clientele would be unhappy.

As I have said, what Video Chief sets out to do isn’t anything new and it remains a business model that I remain sceptical of. If you do want to get into this line of work, I would strongly suggest looking round at similar packages as I know that you can get better than what Joshua Zamora has on offer. The fact is that Video Chief does what it says on the tin, and in and of itself, it isn’t necessarily bad. It is simply that there are much better options available.
