WP Coursify is a new product from Ankur Shukla that allows users to create a website that mimics the layout of Udemy. This can then supposedly be used to sell your own information products.

WP Coursify is a WordPress plugin that sets your website up in a certain way. In the case of WP Coursify, it mimics the well known site Udemy, itself a top website for those who want to learn new skills. Ankur Shukla says that by creating your own website in a similar fashion, you are able to take all the advantages of this kind of website and improve on it by allowing you full access to things like an email list and your profits.
There is also the option with WP Coursify to opt in to an additional upsell which allows you to receive a new course each month that you can sell through your website. 
As a piece of software, WP Coursify is relatively straight forward to use and does “what it says on the tin”. I’m not sold on WP Coursify, both in terms of the presentation and the premise. Whilst Ankur Shukla is quick to compare a site running WP Coursify to Udemy, this is like comparing your estore to Amazon.
It is hard to ignore the fact that the brand name is a bit part of the appeal in terms of traffic etc.
This isn’t to take away from WP Coursify as a product as what it does, it handles rather competently. I just question whether or not it is providing a service that anybody ever really wanted.
